I have never been a fan of modern optics on a cowboy lever action rifle. But at 63, I can't see the sights well enough to hit anything! I decided it was time for a small red dot to help an old guy out. I wanted to keep it low and as unobtrusive as possible. After a good Google search I came across a lever action red dot mount that was exactly what I wanted. It's not cheap, but the quality and quick service was fantastic! It was so well made and the fit was perfect with no overlaps, etc.
The documentation was concise and only provided me with what was needed. The shipping was super fast. I ordered late at night and it was shipped the next morning. All I can says is wow!.. Highly recommended!

An absolute perfect fit for my 1894C Marlin .357 Mag. The Leupold Delta Point Pro is secured and zero'd perfectly. The video for install was very helpful and made it a cinch. The screws did not have to be shortened at all for this model rifle and red dot reflex! I'll be sure to visit Phoenix for my future firearms needs. USA FOREVER!

I am only giving one star because I cannot give zero. Read all of the reviews before considering purchasing anything from Phoenix. They are spot on with my current experience of horrible customer service and not getting any answers. I ordered a "Christine" literally a year and a half ago. It was August of 2021. They assured me multiple times throughout the year that I would have it within a month every time I called. I have left 5 or 6 voicemails with no return calls over the past couple weeks only to receive an email saying they are halting production on all "Christine" models. Pretty terrible experience after spending $5,000 and nothing to show for it so far.

I am updating my last review from 9 months ago. It has now been over two years since I ordered the "Christine." I was only emailed back after my first review that production had begun again on the gun. That was still months ago and after more than two years nobody is communicating with me about any further updates. They were happy to take $5000 and not deliver after they told me so many times that I would have it by now. Might eventually be a great gun but just be prepared to wait at least three hunting seasons before you can use it. Don't let them tell you that you will have it for next season because they told me that two years in a row. Hopefully I can post a great review of how it does. Will update if it actually happens.

I will start by saying I’ve had decent experiences in the past, at their old location, but this was not a repeat. Took my rifle to have it coated and explained that I wanted all exposed metal, except for the bolt, to be coated to prevent rust. This is the same order I place on two previous identical rifles and a shotgun.

Their “front of house”/individual, Rex, receiving the order wrote down the order and their coating specialist agreed to the job that was slated to take 2 weeks. 5 weeks later, only the barrel and receiver were done and the coating specialist claimed he had never received any instruction to do anything else.

4 more weeks pass and I get a call that the gun is “finished.” Only the magazine plate and scope rings were coated, but the remaining bottom metal and bolt handle are still uncoated. The rifle manufacturer is notoriously poor at their finishes and without coating, rust is almost a given.

I exchanged emails with one of their operations heads a few weeks later, who gave me numerous reasons as to why the job hadn’t been completed correctly and what could be done to remedy the situation, as I had already paid the full $350. The individual stated that it would be best to have the rest painted in a standard black color for ease on their end and a “fast turnaround” time.

This saga stretched out over 4.5 months, and I finally got my rifle back, now in two different colors, an earful of excuses, and a really bad overall experience. Rex was the only individual who was customer service oriented and wished to see the job through. Phoenix had better service in their old location with their former coating specialist.

Caution to anyone using their services. Get EVERYTHING in writing and expect delayed lead times with minimal communication.

I have been to a few gun shops in the past and this one is clearly my favorite. I recently bought a firearm through them and even took their build class. The build class was phenomenal. I was able to build my firearm with their instruction as well as ask any questions about maintenance, cleaning, or any other question and they answered every single one. Even took the time to ensure I understood the answer as well. It was a great experience. I would recommend them to anyone!
