Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in a professional setting.

Got a little over $3,000 worth of work done and financed. On top of it taking twice the time as stated (9.5 hours instead of 4, I was waiting), they didn’t fix the issue I had come in to have looked at.

Not to mention, damaging my vehicle and risking my life in the process by not finishing the job completely. Strut screw was not reattached and once I had hit a big enough bump, it shot my shock absorber and spring to be essentially disassembled.

Tried calling the service department to talk to Jill the day after, and the entire week after I got the vehicle back as I still had the clunking I had initially gone in for. Couldn’t get a hold of anyone. No one answered. Not any time of day.

Currently at another shop waiting for them to hopefully fix the screw up while still waiting to hear anything back from this “dealership”. Tried calling service department for 20 minutes straight until I just asked for a sales manager. That was over an hour ago in real time and I still have no contact with anyone at this location.

I will never recommend this dealership to anyone else. Go somewhere else.

Edit: service manager did reach out and offer to pay for the issue IF it was their fault. The shop I got it towed to fixed me up for no charge as I somehow didn’t damage anything else and it was a reassembly and bolt not being re-attached issue rather than a breakage.

I love my 2022 Honda Civic. Isaiah did a thorough and informative job showing me the car and once I had made my decision, he expedited the sales process. Alex did a wonderful job with the financing details. Everyone was really helpful and at the end of the day, when I came to pick up my car, I had a fun surprise seeing they had put a bow on it. Isaiah found the second key a week later and called to pick it up. I know I can trust Isaiah with any issues I have in the future and Phil Long is lucky to have him as a salesman.

This is a very bad car company. At the time of purchase they are very kind and all the workers. I bought a new 2021 Crv, 1 month after it turned 3 years old, the engine was damaged. I had to pay more than $7,000 dollars, for the engine damage they could not give me a reason why it happened. They do not know. But they assure me that it is not a factory problem. Two months after that repair the air conditioning stopped working because the compressor was damaged. I have all my maintenance records. and they do not want to help me with either thing. It is a very bad investment to buy Honda, my family had already recommended me not to buy with Honda. because they had bad experiences and no solution. honestly really bad company.

BUYER BEWARE: "SECURE MARK" OPTION !

Recently bought a used Toyota 4-Runner from this dealership. While the car early on is very good and was cleaned and buffed perfectly, upon taking possession, the buying experience was awful. I made the mistake of trusting the silky smooth talking salesman "Ever" and agreeing to pay a certain "Out the Door" price. I was given no explanation/transparency before signing about an added cost of $910.00 called "SECURE MARK", which turns out to be an insurance policy in the event the car is stolen.
If one has personal car insurance. your insurance will pay if your car is stolen, rendering this "Optional" coverage redundant. On the purchase agreement it says this $910.00 charge is optional, but not really in my case. The dealership/Ever, the sales person touts that Phil Long Honda does not, unlike other dealerships, charge a "Destination&Handling fee which is a great savings to the customer. When finalizing the purchase agreement with the finance person "Alex", I pointed out that it stated on the purchase agreement, that the "SECURE MARK" $910.00 was optional and I did not want to pay for this option. Very quickly "Alex" turned in to the possibly rudest individual I have come across in recent memory. He told me I had agreed to an "Out the Door" price and all their cars have this charge and he would only remove the charge if I then paid a "Destination & Handling fee of $910.00. I interpreted that as an old and tried "Bait & Switch" trick. Make you believe, that by not charging an D/H fee you are getting a deal, but then sneak in the Secure Mark $910.00 charge, without explicitly telling you, until you have signed on to a certain "Out the Door" price offer sheet.....total lack of transparency in my opinion. The lesson I learned is not to trust any nice and polite silky smooth sales person or sales manager, to have your best financial interest in mind and READ ALL THE FINE PRINT, before agreeing on an "Out the Door Price".

I am surprised a local car dealership would treat a local customer this way, but perhaps I am being naive.
