I was referred to Dr. Book for an ADHD evaluation. No more than 10 minutes into my visit with him I felt like he had already made his mind up about me and was brushing me off. I'm in my 40s and according to him, I would have already had a diagnosis. In the report that he provided, he states that I grew up in a home going to church every Sunday with my family. I did not. Not once did my family go to church. It was a huge slap a face and just proof that he wasn't paying any attention to me when we spoke about my concerns.

My daughter is really struggling and I've been trying to get her the help she needs, hoping this man would at least be of some help, instead he judged her and wouldn't give me the time of day to even speak to him after. Unprofessional to say the least. After yesterday's intake, I was kind of in shock at how he believes only one side of the story and shut me down. We will not be going back. 0 stars here. Especially seeing how he does handle things with others. 😔

Very biased and a liar. He is also very money driven the more you pay the better he will comply with what you want on your side even if it isn’t the right thing to do. He has ruined our relationship with our daughter and allowed an alienating grandparent and her boyfriend take our relationship away from her. We were better off before he came into our case. If you want to keep your relationships with your kids by all means stay away from him. He will take them away. You have been warned

He has ruined my life with the people I loved and ruined the relationship I had with my kids. He has told all of my family members that I was a very "vulnerable adult" and that I needed to be heavily meditated in order to function properly. I used to see him 6 years ago and it was the worst experience I ever had. He does not call and tell you what is wrong with you. He will tell everyone else what your problems are. ZERO stars for me.

Hi, i am a mother of 3 and Dr. Book was assigned to my case. Lets just say was warned of biased rumors before actually meeting him . I found them to be completely untrue. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who truly wants what is in the best interest of their child, even if that means not getting the recommendations they were hoping for.I believe anyone who doesn't get what they want out of their case will give a bad review. I find Dr. Book cares about the children in every case. He is not biased. He is careful and very professional and takes in all information before he makes a decision on what to present to a judge. Very good to deal with. Loves his career and has a passion to help. That is truly noticeable

My daughter went to Dr. Book about a month ago. It was one of the worst experiences with a doctor. He called her neurotic numerous times which she hasn’t gotten over. He spoke negatively about her current psychiatrist to her. If you’re in the mental health profession, I would think you’d tend to be more cautious with your words. He’s Very unprofessional and has actually contributed to her anxiety and other diagnoses she has. Wish I could give zero stars!
