I took a friend here for her birthday, and we both ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast with bacon and eggs. What a treat! Definitely decadent and worthy of a special occasion. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Our food came out quickly and piping hot. We browsed in the gift shop and marveled at the unique, fun items. This historic place is awesome!

Great place to stop while driving on I-25 for any reason! Gas, breakfast, lunch or supper time! Big donuts and the best cinnamon rolls around. Come hungry because the portions are enormous y'all. The service is also great and you feel right at home. Thanks for the friendly service Wendy...and your precious smile!

This place is part of Petro Travel Center. The staff is very friendly! I stopped at the Love's across the way and I decided to come here instead and I'm so glad I did.

Lots of neat items for your truck (semi) to buy. The deli is very good! I did get the cinnamon roll which they are famous for. The pizza is excellent. I got the whole vegetable pizza for $12.99. If you like slices they can do that to which is $3.99 or one or two slices for $6.

The washer and dryers are $3 each and you can use a credit card or debit card. The bathrooms are very clean when it comes to using the women's restroom. Probably the most clean I have ever saw and I've been to a lot of different truck stops. The shower is a wonderful as always ta pilot offers you tiles to use. ( but as I was told and warned in Trucker School bring your own towels let's just keep it at that!)

A big shout-out to Miss Christine and Miss Jessica, that works in 'The Deli' very sweet people! And to Miss Tatiana the manager!

Good cinnamon roll though not the best we've ever had. Server was great. Servings were very generous too. The fries were the star of the meal. Super crispy and pillowy on the inside. The omelette was average while the hash brown stole its thunder. All-in with tip for four was ~$56.

The worst service I have ever gotten.

I will explain shortly.
So, my first time in this restaurant, I came in for lunch. We were two customers waiting to be seated. A lady came and gave a seat to the customer who was before me. There were plenty of clean tables, and so, I expected her to come back and get me seated. To my wonders, never came back. After a long wait another customer came behind and we both continued waiting. The customer behind me said 'wow' not knowing how long I waited before him. She saw us talking why she doesn't seat us, by the way we were visible to each other the whole time, and she came with a clear attitude of "i don't care", seated me with no apologies for the sake of it. Asked me for a drink, told her what I wanted, and came back with it but no straw. I asked her for a straw, she said okay but never to bring me. I literally asked her 3 times for the straw before she got me one. No apologies again just to show or pretend she got busy even though I was observing what was going on. I was so thirsty but my food and the straw came almost at the same time. Again, my toast came with butter on it when in fact I ordered it with no butter. Another headache to change the toast. I never wanted and don't want to assume she acted the way she did because was observing her serving others with a warm faces. I felt sorry for her, because I have a belief that, 'people act according to who they are more than to their surroundings'.

Sat down at the table to read reviews before ordering. I had high hopes after reading reviews. Ordered the onion petals as an appetizer, they were pretty good but their ranch is WATERED down a bit much. We ordered the taco plate and the grande burrito with a side bowl of green chili. The taco was ok but not fabulous. The Spanish rice was gross, ruined by bell pepper and lack of seasoning. The beans were far too thick and lacked flavor. The burrito was eh. The green chili was absolutely disgusting! They should really taste some authentic green chili because theirs is not even close and had way too much bell pepper. Seems they're big fans of that bell pepper. I make some of the best green chili you will ever eat. Their green chili did not have any of the traditional seasonings in it all. This was my Valentine's meal and I'm so deeply disappointed. The only good thing was the red velvet cake. We tried one of their cinnamon rolls this past summer and neither of us were impressed. We've had the best cinnamon rolls on this planet in Lonoke Arkansas at the old road runner that is now closed. I will not ever eat at Johnson's Corner ever again, I promise! What a waste of money. Worst Valentine's meal in the history of my 25 year marriage.
BIG SAD FACE!

I really wanted to like this place. I have driven past this historic truck stop numerous times in my life and always wanted one of their world famous cinnamon rolls. I finally had a chance this morning to stop in and i have to say it was not good.

The atmosphere is warm and cozy, service was amazing, coffee was good and flavored creamers were offered.

However the grits were undercooked, parts super chunky and hard, and soupy at the same time.

The world famous cinnamon roll? Hard, dry, and stale. I had hoped that by eating in the restaurant i would have been served a hot and freshly made cinnamon roll and not one from a take out container tossed in the microwave.

I wonder if i would have been better off just purchasing a prepackaged one and waiting to enjoy it when i got home.
