Finding Pearl's Books was like finding a new best friend. I have always wanted to be one of those people who constantly has a book in their hand, but could never find my genre or authors who worked for me. The curated selection, cozy vibes and wonderful staff at Pearl's led me to an endless stream of books that I love.

I come to Pearl's as often as I can, and it's just like walking into a warm hug. The importance of independent bookstores like this cannot be overstated. This shop has sparked a love of reading in me that will stay with me the rest of my life.

Pearl’s Books is the cutest little bookstore! AND it’s owned by a local couple. It’s kind of tight but I find that cozy. They have one of those fun ladders on a track and the books go all the way up to the ceiling. The staff is always ready to help you find your next book…or coin from the Lord of The Rings universe (inquire about it at the desk). There’s a few seats for previewing books and if you visit the kids’ section you’ll find Falkor!

Pro-Tip: Go get some tea from Savoy across the tea and bring it in with you to help you browse!

Pearl Books is my favorite bookstore. The staff is friendly and helpful and the selection of books and merchandise is carefully curated. If you want a book not in their inventory, they make every effort to get it. The store has a very nice vibe.

This bookstore is such a wonderful part of our town! The aesthetic is cozy and inviting, and the book selection is carefully selected in each genre. All of the staff are incredibly nice and helpful, and I love that both staff and members of the public have posted book recommendations around the store. They always have some nice treats and coffee for sale.

First, Pearl’s is absolutely a dream inside. When you walk in, you are immediately immersed in books before being greeted by one of the smiling workers. I went with a friend who had a question, and the lady who was helping her gave her at least five different recommendations and continually checked in with us (but don’t worry, she wasn’t annoying—we were just there a while). Second, their selection is amazing! The store isn’t massive, but they have a great variety of books that you can tell have been thoughtfully curated. As a middle school teacher, I’m always trying to find books that will interest my students, and they make it so easy to discover new books. Pearl’s has little blurbs posted on the shelves to highlight books they love! And third, they have food and places to sit and read. I love it all.

I love this bookstore!! The staff are helpful. The variety of books is good, especially considering the size of the store. The size of the store is part of its charm. I will visit again and again!!

I ate lunch across the street and saw it out the window so I thought I'd stop by. I had such a great time! The staff were very friendly, and they cracked me up talking about the existence of a literary publication called Taco Bell quarterly. One of the staff members talked to me for a solid 10 minutes about various book recommendations based on my interests. The store has a unique collection of books, and I would definitely go back

What a glorious bookstore! I'd followed them for months on Instagram before having the chance to visit, and the store well lived up to expectations. The place is small but there are tons of books and goodies to admire. I appreciated the heavy emphasis on new releases, local authors, and diverse perspectives. We left with a small stack of books to squeeze into our luggage.
