Very well kept small museum with a lot of great pieces of Palisade history. Joan was delightful and showed us videos on the stilts used for picking and pruning, the women who packed the peaches, and the dam. It was a nice museum that runs off of donations and love. You can tell the friendly staff love doing this and sharing it with anyone who visits.

Nancy was too fun, shared amazing stories of beautiful Palisade! The museum is small but packed with lots of history and well kept artifacts. Don’t let Nancy kid you and tell you she isn't from Palisade, ask to see her high school picture, which is tucked away in the museum! Thanks for the tour Nancy- from the China crew!

We had an amazing experience. If you enjoy history, this is a great place to stop and learn a little about the local history. We were fortunate the volunteer there the day we visited was exceptionally knowledgeable (I am terrible with names and his name eludes me) and my husband and I spent about an hour there talking to him and looking at the exhibits. There is no entry fee per se, but you are encouraged to leave a donation.

Wonderful exhibits of the story of the valley from coal mining to the peach industry. The museum includes a photo collection of all the graduates from Palisade High School since 1903.

Growing up in the Palisade area, I found this museum to convey the rich history and culture unique to the area with the displays and informational background. Working in the peach industry in my youth, it brought back a lot of great memories seeing the displays and pictures. Great place to visit!
