My elderly friend is moving, so we called the PAWS office to change his address and let them know a new tenant would be taking over the water service. The woman who answered the phone was absolutely wonderful and helpful. She answered all of our questions and was able help my friend pay his current bill using his debit card. She really helped the situation flow smoothly.

I live in southern New Mexico, and our tap water has an unpleasant taste. The water from the tap in Pagosa Springs tastes just fine, and during my frequent visits, I've never noticed it having an unpleasant smell.

Just left the PAWS office where I have tried for over 2 months to reach the only employee that I was told could help me resolve an issue with a $15. fee. After calling the office numerous times with no return call and going to the office in person, now for the 4th time, the only person I was told could help was finally off vacation but neither she nor her supervisor, Aaron, were willing to help. Not only did they refuse to resolve the initial problem but they appeared to delight in informing that PAWS would now be adding on an additional fee for not paying the original contested fee and my only resort is to contest before the board! Finally Aaron offered to remove the new fee (not the original fee) but then he rescinded the offer when I asked to be added to the board's agenda to contest the original fee! Meanwhile, no doubt that more fee will be added as I continue to await my only opportunity to contest this matter. Besides being the worst customer service I have ever encountered, it appeared that Aaron, the "supervisor," actually took pleasure in placing me, as a customer, in a no-win situation. Oh, and when I asked for the date & time of the board meeting, he flippantly told me to go to the website and look it up myself. I have been a customer for over 11 years and have worked in customer service positions for several large businesses. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced or witnessed.
UPDATE: Just left the board meeting where my situation was reviewed with the board. 3 of the 5 board members basically stated they didn't care what my circumstances were, were argumentative, and expressed disdain for me taking up their time with my situation (their supervisor had instructed me to bring the issue to the board for assistance. I did not want to present it in this forum but was told that was the only way i could get resolution!), and they refused to help in any way with my situation. I do want to express much appreciation for Paul, newly appointed board member, and Bill Hudson, Board Secretary, who were willing to consider my situation and attempted to help with a fair resolution but were outvoted.

I don't get it, all the bad reviews, I have never had anything but great interactions with PAWSD employees. Everytime I call to put money on my account they are nice and helpful - I think you all are great and keep up the good work!

0 customer service because they piss everyone off and treat everyone unfairly, so now they only use recordings, and my tap water smells like pond water and has barely improved over the years.

Locate services are non existent. Gas, electric and phone locations were promptly done on my property, but nothing done for sewer and water. In addition, the sewer lift station on a city road that serves our subdivision and others is "not their responsibility". If it fails, all local users must pay for the repair!! For the AquaHawk feature, I give it two stars instead of one.

The office manager has got to be the rudest person I have ever had to speak with. NO customer service skills at all and actually lied to me on the phone. Good luck dealing with MARLO!
