Quaint and charming, I loved the organization of this darling little business! The prices were a bit higher than some of the used bookstores I am accustomed to, but it is a small business with a good selection and very personable staff so I felt happy to support! Downstairs you will find fiction, classics and poetry, mystery, manga, and some YA among others, while upstairs takes you to a cozy loft with a kids section, non-fiction, and more!

What a fun gem of a bookstore. The bookstore is bigger than it looks. Quite a variety of books. Reasonable prices, too. Very friendly ladies who worked there. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area. 😊

Once and Future Books is the sister branch to Rediscovered Books downtown! They buy and sell used books that are in excellent condition. If you want to book and they don't have it, you can also give them your number and they'll let you know when it comes in!

Best used bookstore in Boise, conveniently located on State Street nextdoor to DK Donuts. Knowledgeable and friendly book lovers run Once and Future Books. Their young adult section is fantastic. History, Biographies, Literature -- everything to make a leisurely day curled up on the sofa perfect.
