The parking lot for the library has a 2-hour parking limit! What!? Makes no sense! Unless they are tied with some over ambitious and corrupt towing company (usually police owned).

Very few desks and areas for people to sit and work on their computers.

The one staff I spoke with tried to explain the parking rules in a nice way so hence 2 stars.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Miss Kristen is so fantastic with my kids. She does an amazing job with children's programs and activities. They offer so many fun things for kids besides story time. Once a month or so they have a free special event like pumpkin painting, elaborate scavenger hunts, mini golfing or building a ginger bread house. They have reading raffles and free crafts for kids. My kids look forward to their visits to the library. If you have a child you NEED to go to the library for events and of course for the books.

I've never been in such a noisy library. Do not come here if you're a student, researcher, or want to get work done. When I approached the staff to tell them how loud it was, even though they weren't rude, They said they couldn't do anything about it. I've been to several libraries throughout Orange County and Southern California; It doesn't feel like a library setting. The librarians are super nice but may be unwilling to reinforce library social norms.

Storytime 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays is amazing for any babies or toddlers. Miss Kristen reads and entertains kids in the best way.

A branch library serving local residents and conveniently located with ample parking. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. A well stocked magazine section. A separate spacious children’s section and year round children’s programs Also has computer stations. Recently has had a facelift.

The staff members at Dana Point Library are the BEST ever! They’re helpful, fun, and kind. My grandchildren love going to the library. It’s a wonderful place!

Nice place to study for my board exams. I come here often. Staff is friendly. The book store here is awesome, too. Found some classics for less than a dollar!

A very wonderful library with a pretty respectable collection. I've gone there, too, to hop on a computer terminal now and then, especially when I need something printed. It took me some effort to figure out the system, but the staff was super helpful and got me trained.
