The new Boulder north library is fantastic! The staff is helpful and the facility is modern and open. The makerspace is wonderful. I took some mending in during open studio hours and the staff taught me how to set up one of their fancy sewing machines and helped me find just the right type of stitch for a semi-complex mend. Really appreciate the friendly help. They run classes in various arts (printmaking is next) and I look forward to taking a class and learning more. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!

I've booked a study room multiple times and I can hear every single word spoken by others in adjoining rooms so plan on bringing headphones if you truly wish to focus 🙁 This library isn't designed to have many places for folks to study without being in the middle of an isle or off to the side with tables too low to work on a laptop with. There's shared tables with public computers, but again, you aren't able to have your own space.

Library is clean, spacious, and beautifully laid out. Holds are easy to locate and check out. Staff are welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Was excited to see a Spanish-specific section! Hoping to utilize the maker space and study rooms in the future.

Free parking! (Main library parking is a hassle.) It's a cute little library. I didn't get a chance to see the maker space. There's an audio experience if you take the outside path from the ground floor to the top floor.

I was so excited for there to be a bigger library in North Boulder so I wouldn't have to drive all the way into town, but was so disappointed. It's beautiful, but because of the way the building is designed and the fact that there's no carpet it's incredibly loud and echoey. Even with music pumping through noise-cancelling headphones, I couldn't focus with all the noise. You would think if you were designing a space that was meant to be quiet, you would take into consideration noise dampening, but I guess not. If you're looking for a quiet space to work, I recommend just going to the main branch instead.

Ever since the library became it's own district, their extremely disrespectful and discriminatory towards our of state people. Especially homeless people from Minnesota. Whatever, this city has a reputation of being retarded towards homeless people and the library ain't no different.
