Such a charming, nostalgic bookstore. There’s a reason this place has been here so long! Highly recommend for the cozy vibes and the wonderful wide selection of books, not to mention the sweet kitties that roam around. I’ll be back!!❤️

I love the cats you can cuddle and carry around while I browse. They have a good variety genres and authors. The staff are friendly and helpful. Go in, find a book and settle into a comfy chair and you will soon find a bundle of love in your lap. Only thing missing are side tables for coffee and tea.?

Beautiful place and such a wonderful experience! There are so many books to get lost in. The organization is nice. A lovely touch with the kitties keeping you company while you browse.

Great little book store! The staff is really nice and they have friendly cats you can visit with while you find a book! They even let us do some fun senior photos inside!

A cute little place..should be called Nan's Cats, Books, & Crystals. The resident cats look for people to sit and purr on. If you love cats, books AND crystals, this shop is for you.

A cozy used book shop filled with lovely people. Drove over to check it out during a vacation in Pismo and was able to find quite a few books I had been on the hunt for - at a good price. I told my Dad about it and later had to take him, he left with a huge stack to add to his Tarzan collection. Everyone I encountered there was sweet and friendly, especially the cats.

My grandmother used to come here every week, buying tons of books and always enjoyed her time here. One day, she came during the book bag hour, she had never been before so was simply adding a few cheap recipe books to her bag, the owner, Nan was extremely rude and belittled my grandmother in front of everyone at the book store. She insinuated that my grandma was "taking advantage" so my grandmother offered to pay full price for each book. Instead of allowing her, she took the books out of her hands and told her she was no longer able to buy the books at all. This was embarrassing, shocking and completely uncalled for. My grandmother is the sweetest woman. She was treated unfairly by Nan. It's not the first time she's been unpleasant. Go somewhere else where you'll be treated with respect.
