Large store with model train supplies in many scales, locomotives, new and used equipment, scenery supplies, books; pretty much everything you might need for your model train layout. Helpful and friendly staff, clean store, great hours. Love this place! Known as Rocky Mountain Train Supply as of 2023.

Quite literally the worst place I've ever tried buying a locomotive from. After sending a very polite email requesting faster shipping options, the order was cancelled, even if I specifically asked them not to do so. Asked them to call so we could talk about why they canceled - they never did. Asked them to reinitiate the order - they never bothered. life is too short - don't take the risk and do business with another hobby store.

Exceptional customer service and a huge selection of multiple scales of model railroad supplies. I haven’t been to a shop as well stocked in decades. Discovered N Scale Supply as part of my getting back into the hobby after 20 years and there is no local hobby store in my area. Prices are competitive and they have been very responsive to my inquiries. I recently sent some of my older stock and they were more than reasonable on their offer for store credit. Happy to have discovered them and plan to do more online business. I have friends that live nearby and will certainly stop in when I visit.

Read all one star reviews be for doing business with these people. Or before ordering anything on line. My husband had a horrible experience with these people.I truly would give zero stars if possible. Not an up standing business. they do not fill orders they lose orders . Even if you can show them proof that you ordered something they do not care if you get it or not. Or try and correct what went wrong. I think they are scamming pre order people. Read negative reviews .Why sell someone a pre-order item at factory discount at$379.00 when you could easily lie and say you have no ordrer and sell same items for no pre order price of $499.00 + and stick all the extra money on his pocket. I wish this site would let me put photos up. I have e mails and photos to prove it all.

Stopped into the store while visiting from Miami and was impressed by not only the selection, but the staff. Marlin was not only very informative and helpful, but very patient. He took the time to carefully and honestly explain the pros and cons of each of selection I was considering. Unfortunately, I will only be able to do business with them online, but if you’re fortunate enough to live locally … go there!

Excellent model train store for N scale. For any model railroader in Colorado and surrounding states, this store is a must-visit.

N Scale Supply always has a wide selection of preowned and used rolling stock at good prices, as well as new rolling stock, track, DCC electronics, and building kits from every manufacturer.

While I only model in N scale, they have also expanded to other scales and have a decent amount of HO and G scale.

The owner is very knowledgeable about model trains, and will help you find what you need or just talk model railroading with you.

It's always a pleasure to stop by when I'm in town!
