Popped in to get a pair of waterproof gloves since my son lost 1 at Eldora yesterday.

I was stunned by how reasonable the prices were... Even better, John was a delight to talk with for several minutes about the history of Eldora and Nederland. We'll definitely be back when we're coming through town!

Mountain Man outdoor shop saved the day! My partner and I were on our way to eldora and realized she wasn't wearing her snow pants. Found the shop by chance and we were greeted by a friendly owner who showed us his wares and we found a stellar deal on a ski jacket and bib. Well worth your time

Awesome store for people that forgot their equipment OR that the airlines lost your baggage situation.

Prices are decent too. Definitively support local business. Owned by a nice couple that only takes Christmas off!!!

Boyfriend and I came here to get a camp stove due to a fire ban. The owner was there as he was at the register. He was very friendly and even gave us a good deal. Very pleased with his service. When we left we agreed to write a review as soon as we got in the car. We will never go in there and not buy something from him! Thank you.

We visited right before the owner was about to close. I could tell he was a bit pensive. He asked what we were looking for & we told him we weren’t sure yet. My daughter wanted to buy something with her vacation money.

Fortunately, we found just the right thing for her, a camping hammock. It was reasonably priced within her budget AND he threw in some nylon string so she could use it right away which made her day.

It was clear to me that this man was a true salesman. He didn’t want you to have to spend too much time in the store which during these COVID-19 times seems perfectly reasonable. He knew his merchandise & if you told him what you needed he would just go grab it for you.

Perhaps the last negative reviewer misunderstood his forwardness for rudeness? Honestly, I can see why shopkeepers are so concerned right now. If not their own health, your health, & the fact that people aren’t making purchases like they used to. Combine all those issues & I would be the same way. Give the guy some grace during these uncertain times. ✌🏼💘
