Overall, a very negative experience. After moving, I went to drop off cardboard boxes and was verbally assaulted by a hyper-aggressive male employee over the placement of my vehicle. When I went to the office to speak with the manager about his behavior, the employee got in my way and physically and verbally intimidated me until I felt unsafe and left. Later, I called the office and filed a formal complaint with the management. I think I will be finding a new place to recycle now; I would rather drive a few extra miles than suffer an attack of this sort again. Completely and utterly unacceptable.

This recycling center Is the pickiest I've ever dealt with. They only pick up every 2 weeks and being out of town the last time our recycling bin was completely full so I had tons of cans that were in a plastic bag on the top to keep them from falling out and littering the streets because our lid wouldn't even close. They claim it's contaminated over one bag and refused to take our items. I've physically been into different recycling plants around the states and seen the hard diligent workers have to deal with Imperfect recycled materials. The fact that they want to be so picky over people trying to help the environment shocks me. Now my husband doesn't even want to recycle anymore due to them refusing to take our recycling. The no plastic bags was a new rule and one slip of the mind apparently is a cause for them to deny an entire large bin of recycling. This is high maintenance entitlement. Been in Moscow for 2 years and wanted to start roots here but it's things like this that completely disturb me.. .
In response to the reply that I got my husband and I have lived here over 2 years and put bags of cans in our bin the entire time. This was the first time our bin was marked "contaminated" . I rinse all my items as well. Now once again they did not take our bin. Rinsing does not mean scrubbing things perfectly clean. It's like you are saying we are serviced ... But really we are doing the work for you. There's poor service when you don't take our bin over something that takes moments on your end. Recycling pick up is not a service. You're making money off items that we purchase and give you to better the environment. It's pretty easy to throw items in the trash. Thanks!

Moscow recycling center To start off it was probably one of the best recycling experiences I've had. the guy was nice and everything is organized from cardboard tin cans aluminum cans glass plastic cloudy plastic it was just really nice they even have a place for yard waste that is big enough for at least for good size vehicles to back in and unload their yard waste and they do not charge for weight or volume unlike Yakima thank you Moscow recycling.

Total scam... If we are forced to pay for a service we don't use it's basically tax. Can't even get a break when it's unoccupied. And at least do your jobs right, your trash guys sit there and pick bags out of the trash sometimes leaving garbage on the ground and always in the bottom...

This is an excellent service for the Citizens of Moscow. The employees are very kind and informative. Just make sure you bring earplugs if you have a lot of glass to recycle.
