Nathan is a really fantastic producer. His direction is subtle and pointed. This was my first experience in the studio as an artist and he made it easy, empowering and very illuminating. I worked with Nate February 2014 to record a cello album. Nate did a fantastic job capturing the sound of my cello and the soul behind it. His service is affordable and flexible.

Sound engineer/ owner Nate Agenbroad of Mixed Metaphor Recording Services did an amazing job mixing and mastering some recordings we did with our band. Nate cleaned up all the tracks and fattened up the sound with tube and analog equipment. When we got our songs back the difference was really startling. Nate has fantastic gear, amazing ears, and an infinite amount of patience and enthusiasm. He worked really hard with us to adjust the mixes until they sounded right to our ears. I’d highly recommend him to any bands looking for tracking or post-production.

Where do I begin.

Nate has helped me develop as a musician and songwriter. He is a master at his craft and makes the process of creating a song so easy and will take the time to get it right. This is my first time recording and I am so glad I decided to record with him. I appreciate how he can give me suggestions but I am still in control in what was I want to take the music. He has so many instruments and knowledge that it is easy. Can’t wait to record more here! Perfect!
