At risk of sounding like a Karen - I went with my boyfriend and felt rushed to leave. At first I thought they might be closing soon, but I checked and we still had an hour and a half. I picked out a vase I wanted and continued browsing. I handed the vase to my boyfriend to hold while I looked at something else and one of the workers came over, took the vase out of his hands without asking, and informed us that she would be holding it at front because they’re ‘a two handed store’. I wouldn’t have minded if she had nicely asked if they could hold it up front until we were done, but the whole time I felt I was only getting attitude. If she thought he was going to break it - it was $25 and I think everyone knows ‘you break it you buy it’. I thought it was a cute store but won’t be going back. (The cashier was very sweet though.)

I've been shopping at Mix It Up for 4 years and it's my go-to store for many reasons: the unique selection, high quality items and the people who work there specifically the manager Teresa! She is the kindest person and always gives my child special attention which is not always the case in gift shops. The kids area is adorable and we love the selection of books. I feel extra taken care of when I'm in the store, it's truly a special place and I tell everyone it's a Must Go when you're in CDA!

The premier gift shop in all of Coeur d'Alene due to its impeccable and extensive inventory of all nature of unique gifts, a wonderfully warm staff of happy humans who aren't shy about calling their frequent customers by name and greeting with a beaming smile and often times even a hug. Personal and professional service exemplified! And a huge plus is this store is dog friendly where delicious treats are freely handed out and cuddles given, thus a fav destination of our pup too. MIU Gifts is always such an uplifting experience, more than just a shopping stop. Massive acknowledgement to owner Beth for raising the bar WAY UP on customer engagement and satisfaction.
