Mike is always so great to work with. They are beyond respectful of your camera gear. I’m not a fan of how they lowball you for used items even if in great condition thus why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. I love their camera cleaning and product selection.

I’ve became familiar with Mike’s Camera over 10 years ago while living in Boulder and have ever since been using them to process my custom Christmas cards. Their services and customer support are outstanding. This year was especially impressive as one of their employees went above and beyond to process a second batch of cards for me. After receiving my initial batch, I was dazzled by how well they turned out and decided to order more. However, we ended up playing perpetual phone tag because of my busy schedule and being out of state. Nonetheless, one of their employees made an extraordinary effort to get in touch with me to process my payment for the second batch. I’m grateful for the services that I’ve received and would highly recommend Mike’s Camera of Boulder for photo processing and custom cards.

Update: Changed my review to 5 stars, because within an hour of contacting the management they responded, acknowledged the mistake and expedited another print shipment to my correct address. They also showed genuine care in their communication.

It seems my original interaction doesn’t represent the excellence Mike’s camera is still embodying. Thanks for what you do.

I ordered photos from Mike’s and USPS sent a delivery confirmation for a different city than my address. I called the store in Boulder and asked for help figuring out how to locate the photos. The associate said, “Call your post office. We’re not a delivery service.” I asked what happens if USPS cannot resolve the delivery issue and the Mike’s camera guy said, “That’s not on us” and hung up the phone. Yikes.

Maybe it’s post holiday stress or just an angry associate but I’ve never been treated that way by a store representative. I double checked that I had the right address in the order and contacted USPS who report that the address they delivered to doesn’t match my shipping address so I suspect Mike’s made a mistake. I tried contacting the store manager. No response yet.

Buyer beware. I used to love Mike’s for the printing quality but they may have deteriorated with reliability and service.

I had a great experience at Mike's Camera in Boulder. Sheila Mitchell was knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant, and patient throughout my visit. She even sought out a lens from multiple different locations for me since the lens was unavailable in the Boulder store.

Scanned copies of old snap shots for print. Easy, mostly self service. A bit pricey. Well-equipped store. Friendly and helpful staff. The prints came out very nice. I recommend Mike's!

Mikes Camera has been my go-to camera shop for decades! I bought my super-fancy Nikon camera there two years ago, with the expert advice of their salesman. I recently went there to get a piece for my damaged, older tripod. There was no matching piece on their shelves, but the salesperson, at the last minute, looked in a box of older, spare parts and quickly found the piece that fit. For only $5, my tripod was saved! Hats off to Mikes Camera.

We love mikes camera! Was waiting almost 3 months for walgreens to print out our disposable cameras.Mikes has been absolutely amazing the last several months we have dropped off our disposables. The developed pictures come out beautifully and only take about 48 hours to get back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I have EVER WORKED WITH! Mike’s Boulder. She helped me by using some of her own sources to help me fine tune my photo for printing. She is kind and patient and so helpful !
