AVOID if you like checking out DVDs like me. This library is very small and only 12% of the building is a library but the rest feels like a studio.
Just go to the other libraries including Library! in Boise, the other Meridian libraries, or the Ada Community Library locations if you like DVDs or CDs.

This place is fantastic! Super great equipment, excellent resources, exceptionally good service. It is a clean, professional, and a beautiful community resource! Whether you need Maker equipment, Business resources, networking events, or a place to have a meeting, or even record, they have what you need. Highly recommend!

Wow! This place is a gem! I love using the laser engravers to make gifts for people. There are free 3D laser printers and laser engravers you can reserve through the MLD website. The only cost is at price for any materials used. They also have a meeting room, recording room, and computers with nice programs on them. This library offers great service. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful too! Note that there are not a lot of books - what's there is aimed more at entrepreneurs, but Cherry Lane library has heaps of books and isn't too far away.

Great place with plenty of potential, but the staff is not up to par. They have very little enthusiasm for their work and hardly ever keep track of events or reservations. They also seem to understand very little about the tech they are using. When I asked about specifics on the VR equipment and game design software they were unable to answer my questions.
And yet whenever I come by to try something new I am treated like a child as the staff explains the very basics to me over and over again.

I recently went to Unbound for a "Tech for the Holidays" event and the staff hadn't even heard of it.
Another time I was told I could use the podcast room after a group left so I waited until they had gone and then went to work. About 5min later a different staff member told me I had to leave as the room had been reserved. He then told the guy who had reserved it to "hold on while I kick him (me) out". There was no sign or any notice that the room had been reserved.

Great tech, crappy staff.

Unbound is a great place to do all kinds of printing, banners, 3D, etc. They staff are very helpful and patient. They also have a professional studio for recording podcasts.
