In the fall it's so pretty! I stopped here with my family not too long ago and I was surprised to see how well kept the park was.... Minus one star because the bathrooms were pretty gnarly.

This park is really well maintained. Grass is always nice, clean bathrooms, nice fields. Really nice place to take kids. Update: There are a few spots of the park that need a little leveling out and the grass re-done. Also the basketball court is dangerous to play on because there is absolutely no grip. It's dangerous and I have seen a lot of people slip and fall while playing. I have to downgrade to a 4 star but hopefully they will fix it. Update: it's looking better! I really like this park.

Enormous park. Plenty of parking for a tractor trailer, bus, or an RV with easy access and a smooth safe dirt road pull out to Route 395. Bathrooms were immaculate. Park is well kept and safe for children. Views are terrific. Peaceful place to have picnic. Plenty of shade with beautiful?trees.

We bring our small dogs here to get some excercise when camping up mountain. Nice park with trees and grass, picnic tables. Kid zones and on outskirt of city so scenic mountain views and no traffic noise. It's a public park, day use park, not tenting? Don't know why previous post said that.

This one of our favorite places. We make the trip between Southern CA & Northern Nevada multiple times a year and this is the perfect place to stop on a long road trip to stretch your legs, use the restroom, let the kids play, and eat some Coppertop BBQ. Unfortunately we’ve watched an ant infestation grow progressively worse over the years. I mean you literally cannot unbuckle your kid from the car seat without them crawling on your legs, you can’t catch them at the bottom of the slide bc they’ve infested the wood chips, and if your kid stands still anywhere on or around the outside of the playground, they will be crawling up them within seconds. I beg the parks department to come out and see for themselves because it’s ruining the experience of one of the most beautiful Parks in ca.
