You can’t beat free for sure. It’s a cute little museum with information about manitou springs. You can probably get through everything in about 15 to 30 minutes. Worth checking out if you want to know more about the area.

This is so full of information! You better come ready to learn! It had a little bit of everything for the history of Manitou Springs. The highlights for me were the men who pushed peanuts up Pikes Peak with their noses and the pottery/art collection of Van Briggle. The person at the desk was distracted and not friendly. She barely greeted us. On the other side, I learned a lot about the town.

Intimate space with tucked away corners that feature the history of Manitou Springs, and its popular attractions, local celebrities, and events, like the Hill Climb. Small souvenir area. Quick visit; maybe 30/45 minutes, but a nice stop.

The Manitou Springs Heritage Center is the best little museum around. Not only do the exhibits represent the history and culture of Manitou Springs, but the docents and volunteers working at the museum are the friendliest and most courteous people in town. The Heritage Brew Fest rocks, too. See you soon at the Manitou Springs Heritage Center, where the admission like its parking is free.

Loads of local info.. don't forget to get your guide to the local springs.. includes locations and mineral content. Many springs are free and accessible to the public.. bring a container to fill, or buy one at the museum...
