I love Maker General! This shop is so cute, the staff is very helpful, they always carry high quality and unique products and material. Also, they offer very fun classes, I highly recommend. I took a sewing workshop recently which gave me the confidence to not only make 3 super cute projects during the classes, but I finished a dress I had been struggling with!

I regularly visit here w my children. Always feels inviting & welcoming. Such great crafts, fabrics and small gifts for friends. Love the book & plant selections too. The staff is always so helpful & have truly cheered me on in trying new things. Appreciate such a very cool (&safe) space here in Longmont.

One of my favorite shops in Longmont! It has all you need for almost any craft you might be interested in and the owners are a delight. The shop has an awesome atmosphere and I love shopping here for gifts for others as well as materials for my own crafts! I’ve taken a sewing course with them as well and it was so such a fun afternoon! 🙂 So happy to have a space like this in Longmont!

I LOVE this little store. It has everything from earrings, to sewing kits and fabric, non- Hallmarky cards, diy kits, incense, books, and an awesome selection of plants. My daughters, ages 8 and 14, have been taking sewing classes with Julie for months and they adore her, plus, they’ve both learned a ton. I have also started taking sewing classes and just completed a mosaic woodworking class last week….It was a total blast. There is literally nothing MG doesn’t have. It is one of my favorite shops in Longmont.

Maker General is such a cool and unique space for makers/creatives of all sorts and ages.

My husband and I moved into the neighborhood a couple of years ago and Maker General quickly became our favorite store on Main St. We love that they spark creativity in all ways and I always seem to find a new hobby to try.
