Nice little thrift store with a better selection than I would have thought for a small community. It was busy and merchandise was going out the door. Stop buy if you're in the area. Check out their children's section it's a surprise.

Don't waste your time here. I'm so sick of the $10 minimum for credit card purchases. I understand there are processing fees, but it's a thrift store where I can have 5 items still under the threshold. I support the mission of the Mountain Family Center, but the thrift store leveraging donations with a roundup to $10 feels gross.

I will be donating and shopping at Changes Thrift Store in Fraser from now on.

About three months ago (I was still in my surgery boot at the time) I had purchased a "king" bedspread set. I brought it home and cleaned it and put it on my king size bed. It was not a king. It was a queen and since I could not get to the shop anytime soon, I kept it and I am currently trying to sell it. Yesterday, I went into the thrift store and purchased some items. I purchased another "king" bed set, taking a risk knowing that the first set I bought was not a king. I figured what could go wrong since I hadn't gotten a set in months. I also told Brenda that if it didn't work could I bring it back. She said yes.

I brought it home yesterday and cleaned it and line dried it. I placed it on my bed today and once again, the set was not a king set. This time I took some photos and rushed over to the store with it today. It was 15 minutes till closing. When I got there, a young girl with glasses and the usual male associate were at the register. I stated that the measurements were incorrect and that I had purchased another set months back that is also not measured correctly. I showed the photos and the very nice girl with the glasses noticed that it did not fit correctly.

I stated that Brenda said I could bring it back and that I could get a refund. Brenda came out and stated that I could get $25.00 in store credit. I realized that I misspoke about getting a refund. Since it was 15 minutes before closing, the male associate made it VERY CLEAR to me that he was put off that I showed him the photos and stated that the measurements were not done correctly. The snarky attitude given to me by the male associate was truly horrible. I then asked that since it was near closing, could I get a credit to shop there at a different date, because the male sarcastically told me that I had to use it right there and then.

I asked him if he was serious and he responded with a condescending manner. I felt extremely uncomfortable and completely agitated by his demeanor. This was no fault of mine and the fact that the measurements are not being done correctly shows that anyone that shops there is purchasing bedding that is not properly sized. The fact that tourists shop there and could go home with an improperly sized linen set is really bad. I stated that I shop there pretty frequently and the guy said he could give me a credit for a future shopping date. However, I was already made completely uncomfortable by his attitude that I tried to look for items to purchase to make up for the improperly measured "king" bedspread set.

I was able to find two items, which left me with an $8.00 credit.

What an incredibly awful experience for me to have. I would never conduct myself in a manner that that male associate had today. As far as my $8.00 credit goeefus, you can give that credit to the extremely sweet young blonde girl with glasses. She was so incredibly sweet and kind. She conducted herself in a professional manner and not a sarcastic and condescending one.

I wanted to thank Mandi from MFC for helping me sort this out. I enjoy shopping at the Thrift store and I find some awesome things. I value the time and courtesy shown to me by staff and I am grateful for the wonderful services that MFC provides to the county 😊

The prices of some items are ridiculously high. I also have seen the same stuff on the racks for a week or more at a time. There is a thrift store called Changes and their prices are more reasonable. Main Street Thrift has been trying to sell the same Patagonia items for nearly a year at prices that are ludicrous. It seems more frumpy now than it was almost three years ago. The staff is nice but the items being sold are very frumpy and overpriced.

A smaller thrift store compared to ones you find in bigger towns. However, they have a very wide range of items for sale. prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and I think I bought a belt from them. Worth a look if one of your hobbies is visiting thrift stores.

Lovely little thrift! I purchased a bunch of Christmas stationary for a very low cost and some very gently used, extremely well conditioned athletic clothing! A white Nike t, softee sweats, and a bicyclist top with tags. The staff was very kind and offered helpful suggestions for local things to visit! 🙂

Google stated they are open today 09/17/22 so I made the drive 40 min to come shop around, was dissatisfied to see they were closed. I double checked Google, and yupp, Google says open till 4pm (currently 1:58pm). I would like to see the store hours posted correctly through Google and the business should always be checking on it as well.
