My business has been a member of the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce for the last 4 years!!

We've participated in many of the Chamber's excellent professional, social and educational events. The quality of the events and the fellow membership is of a quality level that I've not experienced in other Chambers or networking-style groups.

I've met and become friends/business associates with many Chamber members. We support each other as professionals and community members striving to make the best of our local area.

What's really great about the Longmont Chamber is that people genuinely want to help each other succeed.

I can't say enough about the staff at the Chamber who make the magic happen! They are all deeply invested in Longmont's businesses and community and work for their members.

If you're debating joining the Chamber, I'd say you get out what you put in. Put in the effort (as in attend events / make connections)... (like everything else in life) and you'll be satisfied with the membership 🙂

I've had the pleasure and privilege of being a member of the Longmont Chamber of Commerce member and business since 2015. It's been an irreplaceable and important part of my business since inception and even today. Between the regular networking events (business before hours and after hours, young professionals events, and special events), along with their many advocacy and support committees (education committee, ambassadors, and public policy), the Longmont Chamber bats well above its weight and we're proud to be members.

When I joined the chamber earlier this year, it was to help grow my business. To get in front of more businesses that I could help with their design and marketing. What I didn’t know was that I was signing up to grow my family, the people that make me feel like I belong, celebrated, and loved. 🙂 It’s a weird thing to say, but the members at the chamber and the staff make me feel more welcome than I would’ve expected, especially coming in as an artist. I thought I’d have to fight to be taken seriously, that I would need to change my personality, the clothes I wore. But after meeting the amazing dorks who run the chamber I knew if found a new family, a theme that I find again and again wherever I get involved in Longmont. When you love Longmont, it loves you back, and I appreciate that more than anything.

I can’t recommend the chamber enough. For the annual fee, I feel like I get so much out of it. Lots of fun social events, great people to meet and collaborate with, a free networking group, fun volunteer (and great networking) opportunities, and ribbon cuttings and other promotional opportunities. 🙂 If you’re considering joining, try it out for a year and commit to coming to the social events. Consider it like your new family and network of colleges who get how hard it is to run a business and you’ll see the benefits pretty quickly. Plus who can’t love Karen and all her amazing quirky ways. 🙂
