I'll tell you exactly what I love about this widely distributed, free magazine. If you are looking in from outside the area, you'll gain a very good idea of what it's like to live in North Idaho. Currently this publisher has four town-specific magazines in the Panhandle: Bonners Ferry, Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene and St. Maries from North to South. Wisely he's chosen to utilize talents from each community for most of the content about that community. For me, the fact that he's named it Living Local is a precise keyword description of the articles and advertising in the well-laid out pages of each publication. Seasonally timely, I doubt there's a better print publication available where you can examine an area before relocating there. If you use the advertisements, making non-bothersome calls, you can learn directly from those of have come before you to this safe, water-abundant, family-friendly beautiful countryside.
