This light rail (not the station itself) had quite the eerie feel about it. The new upholstery reminds one of a children's hospital and the scent of hospital linens too. Without a speck of disorder I would recommend finding a different way to work if your the sole occupant at any time of day.

Can't say enough about this station. I remember watching as this station was built back in the 90s. It is scenic, clean, and mostly free of homeless pot smoking bums that infest other stations. I used this line when I had to travel to the SSA office on Mineral Rd. There is a park and ride lot across the bridge that overlooks the Santa Fe Roadway. Ah, the memories.

We were heading back to Denver at the tail end of our trip and decided to visit and take a ride on the Littleton Mineral Train. It was an absolutely beautiful ride and the staff was very friendly, fun and professional. If you ride in an open car, you may want any of the following....sunglasses, a hat and/or sun block. Make sure to use the restroom before you jump on the train as it takes awhile to get to the next station!

Nice lightrail station with plenty of parking. Although, make sure to allow yourself a few extra minutes when planning your drive to catch a train at this particular ststikn, due to the longer than average walk from the parking lot (especially, the north west section) up to the bridge platform and then across the long bridge over Sante Fe. Then, unless previously taken care of, you will need a few more minutes to buy a ticket from one of only two machines at this station.

I spend a good portion of my commute here waiting for a bus, or train. It would be nice if there was a public restroom option at the station instead of having to walk to one of the near by businesses.

This is not a free park & ride station. It is only free if you live in an RTD district. I live in Littleton 1.2 miles away, and was dismayed upon returning to my car after commuting to find a ticket. The first one is just a warning, they escalate fine amounts after that and ultimately will tow your car unless you pay their ripoff parking fees. My complex is in a small pocket apparently outside the RTD district. If I want to commute to work ftom here, they want a $4! daily parking fee in addition to a $5.20 daily ride pass. What a ripoff. No wonder Denver traffic is so bad. Way to encourage commuting.
