RV Park review. Nice fairgrounds next to The LA Plata Rec Center. They have 8 or 9 RV spots with 30 amp and water. You can use the Rec center for $6 to shower, swim, hot tub, splash pad, and other activities. The lot is dirt and next to the arena. The only negative is that the maintenance yard is behind you, and they work some days to 11 pm. You would only hear the vehicles drive into the yard, did not bother us.

Went to La Plata County Fair. It was the smallest Fair I have ever seen. Wasn't much to do but the food was good. The rodeo arena was a nice view. Chevelle Shepherd concert was great!

Lots of venders come and see also I'm a vender I sell freshly squeezed lemonade and limeade and shaved ice sno-cones at the Durango fleamarket on sundays may to October

First time to Durango and when I found out the rodeo was tonight I had to attend and it was a wonderful event. Facility was great. Rodeo competitions were great and I was grateful to try the Honey Distillery's Bourbon!

This place is great!!! Yes it's a gravel lot but the ladies in the office are wonderful and very accommodating! The fitness facility right near the lot has an adult day pass for 6.50 and well worth it for a great shower! Fitness facility is beautiful! Right on the river path too which is great for walking running and biking!
