We got married in Colorado this past weekend, and the Jefferson County CO clerk and recorder made it so easy to get our marriage license even when we realized we didn’t apply correctly! They also walked us through how to fill out the marriage license, making the process super easy. It also wasn’t too busy. We made an appointment but we ended up in town a little early and they were able to squeeze us in!

Going through a civil suit I did call and leave a message considering the automated calls that I get from my kids school. I was surprised when I got a call back and just appreciate the lady who gave me a call back. I did not catch her name recently went up to summit some more paperwork. The Gentleman that help me was also very kind and helpful. Times are hard and I really turn on my community to come out on top. 🇺🇸🫶🏽

Actually the chat feature was very easy. Yeh, it was a wait and the wait originally was for 15-20 minutes but it was more like 10-15 minutes. I just did some work while waiting. I was able to take care of registering plates and answering questions over the chat and payment taken over the phone (if paying with a credit card, yes there is a small fee to cover their cc processing fees) and they call you for that, so that is a plus.
Agent was very friendly and quick to answer questions. If you are able to take care of it during the day when they are there, take advantage of the chat if you can.
Of course don't wait until the last minute to get or renew your plates

I had a good experience just now using the chat service. I was able to chat with someone local about getting new license plates. I was able to send the proof of insurance via email, and the whole process was quick and easy.

Since they are basically not open, I am happy that they are utilizing other means to maintain their services. This transaction involved chat, email and phone, but it worked fine. They seem to be doing their best, and we all have to make some concessions until this COVID thing is over.

If anything, this was faster and more convenient for me than going down to the office would have been.

I want to applaud the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder's office for making getting a marraige license so easy. My fiance and I couldn't get an appointment in Denver, so we checked out Jeff Co. There were tons of appointments available.

The county government building was beautiful and had ample parking. We were in and out within 20 minutes, license in hand.

I just did a chat and was very happy with the service. The tags weren't on our 1951 truck when we took it out of storage. I was unable to get replacements online so I tried the chat. Boom! The agent was able to order new tags for us after I emailed proof of insurance. So glad we didn't have to make an appointment to get them. Chat is great! My agent was Nikki.
