Went here once to purchase some cards ended up having a great time and meeting with the employees finally deciding this would be my shop as I live far.

Come back days later to purchase some more items as I had a really good experience beforehand.

Went today and 2 gentleman with hats were some of the most miserable people I've had the pleasure of interacting with. I asked them to look at a card I immediately top loaded with no issues. The gentleman decided it was appropriate to take it out of the sleeve and in doing so creased and damaged the card.

Will not be coming back nor recommending they have the same prices as every big brand store and I'd prefer employees who can answer questions and not seem bothered by it

I have only had interactions with this shop online, through the breaks in which I participated. Always had a great time, even when I don't hit anything. Every breaker is fun, friendly , and respectful, some even remember my PC team is Astros!!! Haven't had the chance to visit personally to the location but definitely looking forward to it on my next trip to the area.

Very disappointed in our experience here.
My child and I were very excited initially to have found this store. We went to check it out: at first the staff did seem friendly and helpful but that quickly changed. They stood on the other side of the counter watching me and my child pick Pokémon cards. They could clearly see that my son was spending Christmas money and had a budget.
We got to the register and the staff whispered to each other to be sure to do the compensation.
Sure enough the price of the cards he had picked changed. The marked sticker price was no longer correct and they were trying to charge me a much greater rate.
The whole situation dissolved from that point.
Do I not understand Pokémon cards and collectibles: sure.
Do I understand basic consumerism that the marked price of the product is the price? I do,
I also understand how bad it feels to have the people working behind the counter understand my young child is excited for his purchase and they knew the cards he was picking were not priced correctly and they chose to say nothing to us until they asked me to pay. I’m upset over the experience because I feel we were treated pretty poorly.
And it’s a huge shame because we were very excited to have found this place.
We will not be back. And I wrote this review to warn others and hopefully get the attention of the shop owner that the way the staff treats customers is pretty pathetic.

My experience with Iron Lion has been wonderful and they are the most welcoming shop around. The staff are very friendly and they provide excellent customer service! They have an awesome collection and I'm very pleased that they've added manga. Also, it's really cool to see special guests in the shop - recently with John Swasey!

Went in today to buy some singles for Pokemon 151 staff was super friendly and very helpful. Everything priced good and shout out the the guy that helped me didn't catch his name but thanks for your help!

Stopped by near closing today and was a tad worried as I'm not a regular. They were very nice and welcomed my family and me right when we walked in.

We strolled around the store for a minute and were rather impressed with how clean and orderly everything was! Most cards stores are normally overburdened with games and a disordered amount of cards. This was not the case here, everything was very nicely organized all the displays were immaculate. Overall very impressed. My son got a tad unruly at the end end and snagged a price tag off the snacks and the staff were still super nice.

I purchased a couple boosters because I am a bit of a wierdo and will not do any big purchases until I see how "hot" the store is. Specifically on boosters of mtg and pokemon so I snagged two ravnica remastered boosters. I went 2 for two snagging a new nicol bolas, dragon God and a retro frame breeding pool.

Overall great experience. Will return to snag a few more boosters very soon!

The Iron Lion is the only comic book store I shop at in Colorado Springs. Their shop is not like the typical comic book stores with endless seas of long and short boxes, nor does it feel stuffy like most of them. The Iron Lion is always very clean, organized, and fully staffed with very friendly & knowledgeable people that are experts in comics, Sports Cards, Collectibles, Trading Card Games (TCGs) like, "Magic The Gathering," "Pokemon," "Lorcana," and other aspects of this fun passion. The staff is always very welcoming and willing to help you find something, or even teach you how to play a TCG. There is a huge selection of comics from Marvel, DC, Image, Darkhorse, Top Cow, IDW, and they even have children comics easily accessible, and many others. They host fun events during Halloween, Free Comic Book Day, and even host celebrity meet & greets that include comic book artists, and popular voice actors. If you're looking for graded comics, cards, and high quality statues/figures, this is the place to be. The owners, Shelby and Andrew are great people, know a lot about the industry, truly passionate about what they do, and run a outstanding establishment.

Was disappointed. Went in before Christmas with the intent of buying a box of Pokémon cards and a box of football cards. I haven’t collected for over 25 years. I try to find out which box of cards would be the best to hit some rookies for this year.

The guy, I was speaking with didn’t know, he asked another worker who quickly spit out three different types of boxes to buy. I asked the original guy if he could write those down for me. Apparently he couldn’t remember either, didn’t really care, wrote down one name, and gave me the name of two other places to go shop.

I won’t be returning.
