There are enough wonderful reviews here for you to see this is a great place to visit. We LOVED the Lincoln display! My review is focused on accessibility. I could not be more pleased with the whole visit in general. Everything was easy to view and read from a mobility scooter. The front desk staff even offered to put my purse in a locker for me as it was a bit tight. He did not have to be prompted. He saw a need and responded. The parking lot is perfect, smooth, well-ramped, and has automatic doors with door paddles to activate. The attmosphere is bright, clean (spotless), and extremely quiet. The only issue I had was the bathroom door which is incredibly heavy. I was trapped in the bathroom for a few moments until someone else came in and let me out. I was just about to call the front desk for help. If that door were easier to open for someone in a wheelchair/scooter, I would have given it 5 stars, no doubt. It was a great experience and so interesting. I learned a lot!

I didn't even know this place was here. They have an absolutely fantastic amount of historical data for Idaho. Anyone can come here and use the computers for free. You can look at old photos among so many other things. I'm not really a history buff but this place is fantastic. I encourage everyone just to drop by at least once. It's completely free and there's so much to do.
