Total garbage customer service. Sold us an upgraded subscription without telling us when we renewed. Asked to talk to a customer service manager and was told we would receive a call. Never did! Tried again, same story and never got a call. Terrible business.

The worst service ever. Never received one newspaper. Said I couldn't cancel my 3 month subscription. The first time I called and talked to Sandy in delivery about not receiving my paper. She said the carrier couldn't find my address. Ok understandably. But what about the next 4 days. Called and left messages never returned my calls. So I connected with my bank and they took care of it. Anyone having the same issue call your bank and file a claim against them to refund your money. It doesn't matter if it was 1.00 or 500.00. It's the point they never deliver your paper.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I signed a 3 month contract with them! They promise to deliver the weekday paper by 6:00 am and the weekend papers by 7:00. I have no idea when they deliver the weekday paper because I leave for work at 7:15 and it's nowhere to be found. The weekend papers come sometime around 8:00?! Not acceptable! I'm in the process of trying to cancel and get out of the contract but their customer service is really really bad and now I'm waiting for someone to call me back?!

Signed up but never got a paper. Called to cancel and got someone in Pennsylvania who tried to talk me out of cancelling because "I have such a good deal". They keep billing online, won't cancel, and I've never gotten a paper.

Absolutely love these idiots. I got the paper for a month or so then cancelled. Probably spent a solid three hours on the phone with them doing everything in my power to cancel. They held on as long as they could but finally caved and let me off with a lifelong free membership of getting called EVERY GODDAM DAY to restart my membership.

You know how you're going about your life with little bits of pent up rage and frustration here and there. You stub your toe, your belt loop gets caught on the door handle, the barista at your coffee place wont stop talking about how she got a companion animal certificate for her duck to the person in front of you? Well with this free membership, you can take all that rage and and pent up annoyance, wait for them to call you anytime during the day. And. Just. UN. HINGE. I have their number saved in my phone so I can prep a little as the call is coming in. Gotta tell the room I'm in to quiet down or turn the stereo off in my car. Or hell, maybe I'll crank up Creed so that can play in the background as I lose it over the phone to my new friend Robert at the Idaho Tribune. I like to mix it up.

It doesn't have to be a rage answer either. They will call you even if you're having a sad or lonely day. They "say" they're calling to see why you cancelled your membership and to see if they can start you at a new lower priced one, but really, they're just as lonely. When Dave gave me a ring the other day, I was on the verge of tears and by the end of the call I think he was too. It's nice when we can share time and emotions like that together.

I have known bad customer service. Hell, my xbox changed its language to Japanese and apparently you have to contact Microsoft in the language you're signed in on to get any help at all. I've even had a conversation with CenturyLink about what a CDMA network is and how fiber optic is supposed to work.. none of that comes close to the customer service that this business lends. They will call you every single day, sometimes just to talk about flat earther theoey or how in to anti-vaxxing they are. All with the underlying push towards getting you a "quality paper" at just the right price.

Garfield is always on point though so they have that going for them.

We switched to this paper after WEEKS of terrible delivery service from the Idaho Statesman!! We wouldn’t get a paper for 2-4 days and then we’d get all the papers in one day 🥴 Incredible!!
Friends recommended the Idaho Press. So we tried them and we REALLY like the paper and delivery is excellent!! 👌🏻

The paper just started appearing somewhere and anywhere on my front yard. I never subscribed to the paper, I emailed them to let them know I never subscribe to their paper....no reply, paper is still being delivered, I've stacked them up on the edge of the sidewalk (still in there orange or clear plastic baggies...unopened) hoping the delivery person would get a clue.... it's hopeless. If and when I get a bill...they'll be receiving a box from me with all the papers in it and the unpaid bill at the top of it....nuf said.

Called and asked to get papers for the days my kids were born and the gal helped me out quickly and with ease. Thanks!
Side note the statesman did not have any news about the earthquake on the cover of their paper! Dumb!! But what can you expect from a paper that publicly supported Hilary Clinton🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️
