Open 1k rounds of ammo in june 2023 that had been purchased with 3k rounds in total between mid 2020/2021, almost 1/4 of the 1k rounds that i had purchased were missing, left a review and was contacted by owner steve information was exchanged, i proceeded to open the remaining 2k rounds 1998/2000 (not bad for bulk weight fill) , order was filled but communication issues and employee leaving i was never contacted, december 20th i left a 6 month up date on review was contacted by steve again dec 23rd letting me know it had been sitting on the will call shelf outside his office since june... Today i picked it up...

Could this have been handled better by me absolutely but in the end steve and idaho ordinance get a positive review they made things right for this customer

Alright I see alot of bad reviews here which sucks, I have placed numerous orders with idaho ordnance and never have had a problem. They are great people and really for the quality of the Ammo the price is also great. So over the years it seems they have had some problems but you gotta remember they are a local business competing with all the big companies that outsource all there work to foreign countries that probably use slave labor or something close to it, so they can afford to sell ammo for alot cheaper. They are an American company made in America. If you really love your 2nd ammendment you should support American companies. I could go on and on but give em a chance. They are still working on the website to make it more user friendly, you gotta think if there in the ammo business they probably aren't very tech savy! Give em a call shoot em an email, they will get you taken care of!

Good quality ammo from my first order, so I placed another order and waited two weeks only to receive a call that the price had gone up by $0.18 per round. I understand how markets work, but as a company you should fulfill orders at an agreed upon price and then change the price on the site so people can choose first. Not bait and switch. I had been telling all the shooters/trainers in town to support you, but that’ll have to change unfortunately.

I placed an order for 300 blackout back in October and was sent the email saying to wait for the phone call to process payment. I never received a phone call. I received an email in December from customer service telling me that the price for the order I placed two months prior has changed. They asked if I wanted to keep my order. I said that I wanted to keep my order for the agreed upon price. Still no response. I decided after another month I would follow up. Come today another email saying that prices have gone up again and that there . I said again that I would keep my order for the agreed upon price. I have never had such poor customer service from any company. Unwilling to honor prices and not able to successfully fulfill an order of 40 rounds over the course of 5 months. Do not buy from this company

I guess I should have just read the reviews before ordering hundreds of rounds of subsonic 300aac. Been waiting for two months and even called a couple of times with no response. Finally got a hold of someone who said my order could be moved up in the queue, however, this came with surprising news... a 75% increase in price. I made an order at a particular price point with Idaho ordinance for several reasons. Mostly them being local. However after this experience and their refusal to honor the invoice they gave me when I ordered I will not be even attempting to buy from them again. I asked to speak to the owner or a manager and the same person called back basically saying the price is what it is and it’s subject to change. Not great service, support, or really anything from them. Not a good way to run a local business. When ammo starts flowing again I would bet many people will steer clear of Idaho ordinance.

Has great customer service and great bullets. I have o purchased from a local gun store and was super happy with the quality. So I tried placing an order in a few times on the local website. I never got a call back so I called twice for two different orders... What I don’t understand is on the online portal you can order by 50 packs and 100 packs of ammo. I called to see if that was possible and the first time they couldn’t find my order so I reorder waited awhile to call and then called again. When I called they said they are only doing 500 rounds of certain ammo and I would have to buy 500 rounds in order to get my package of ammo. This is not what I wanted and they could have told me that the first time I ordered. Instead I waited and wasted my time jus to tell me I can’t get my package unless I ordered 500 rounds. I try to always support local business but this makes it impossible to do so.

Beware!!! When your order is complete and they call, it could be alot more than the prices you ordered at. My opinion they're flirting with bait and switch. Stephanie was rude and told me that I was the first unhappy customer and that they should shut the factory down. She said that they have enough happy customers without me, some of the worst customer service I've seen. Wont be back!!

Ordered 500 rds of 9mm ammo on 9/3/2020. Website did not show out of stock or back ordered. Received a call today (9/14/2020) that ammo was ready for pick up. However the original purchase price on the website, $190 per 500 rds, was now $320. When I told the sales person the website price was $190 for the amount I ordered, I was told the price was only a suggestion, and I was really just reserving a quantity and not a purchase price. That’s not how business should be conducted here in North Idaho, and I won’t be purchasing anything from this business again.
