I walked in and was in awe. This place was so pretty. I automatically went to take a picture because I was admiring how pretty everything was! But then I was quickly stopped by an employee. She did not greet me nor was she welcoming, but she was sure to tell me that photos weren’t allowed. I asked her, “where is the sign?” And she said, “if you walk further into the store you will see a sign.” Well, I didn’t even get the chance to. I was there for less than 50 seconds. I felt uncomfortable after that. Some advice, put a sign at the front of the store! I understand there may be rules to shop here BUT you should learn to be welcoming, especially when we are doing you a favor by trying to support a small business. Overall the store is cute but I won’t be buying from here. I wouldn’t want to take something home from somewhere that the vibes were uneasy. Also didn’t feel diverse friendly, we were only corrected but not greeted, unlike others…

Came in for the first time today and was really excited about checking this place out. The owner immediately came up to me as I entered the store when I tried to snap a picture. I get every business has their policies but theirs a way to communicate that to your customers. At the very least greet them before you SCOLD them. I soon left after that interaction as I felt as my every move was being watched. It’s odd that we were lectured about photos yet theirs tons of reviews with pictures attached. Overall I got the vibe that this place isn’t diversity friendly. Which this store being located in such a predominantly white area isn’t a shock. First and last time EVER coming here again.

I looked at reviews here with photos included but was told of their no camera policy inside. Very disappointing, have family who want to buy gifts for me. Felt like taking a photo of a gift to show my mother was as criminal as shoplifting. Workers need to learn customer service in Boise, where we are polite.

Absolutely loved this shop! The customer service was outstanding. We were traveling from out of town and stopped in on our way back home (several hundred miles away). We made some purchases and they took great care in making sure our items were securely packaged and even helped bring them out to the truck. We bought a gift for our granddaughter and they spent time gift wrapping it and even hand making the bow!! I have my eye on some other items and can't wait to go back. Definitely a place stop if you are in the area. Thank you to Hyde and Seek for a positive and memorable experience!!

This is a great gift shop! Lots of tchotchkes, knickknacks, and things you never knew you wanted. They do an amazing job gift wrapping items as well! I was able to find some really cool feather tipped writing pens and stationery sets for my co-workers.

Such a neat place for original, quirky, inspiring, and classy gifts and home decor. I loved the style and setup. Prices are more than average but worth the quality of the pieces. Spent a good half hour here looking at all the items. I especially loved the artwork by Eli Halpin.

Such a very beautifully curated store. I would give the store and employees a 10 if I could. I’ve only been in twice and they are so helpful and responsive. The make you feel like your their only customer. Eclectic from floor to ceiling. A must visit!
