I stayed here last year and my review was not so good. I decided to stay again, give it another chance. I am so glad I did. The hotel and staff has completely turned around. Its wonderful. The Manager Xena Cousins, made our stay amazing. She went above and beyond to make our stay great. We had to leave our vaca early due to totalling our truck running into a giant elk, so we were pretty sore and just nothing had gone rite until we came here. Xena made us feel so comfortable and welcome. It was just what we needed. She turned our depressed heart broken moods into smiley faces. Thank you Xena for everything you did. It was so nice.

We stayed here for few days.

Rooms are nice size and clean. Room service great and flexible. Breakfast - typical American. Beds - very comfortable. Happy with this stay overall. Good location to stores/restaurants and not too far from downtown GJ. I would recommend this one over the Airport Holiday Inn one.

I don’t exactly know where you hired this gentleman out of, but he really made me and my guest feel unwelcome at the breakfast area. Upon arrival, we were excited to see biscuits and gravy to the point where my guest grabbed one that was not on the tray and put it on her plate, he immediately snapped and yelled at her use the tongs after she had already picked up the tongs. Then I came down in my barefoot shoes. They look similar to socks, but they are shoes. he told me that I was not allowed to be in the breakfast area without shoes on. I don’t know where you hired this guy, but it seemed more like a prison guard who just wanted to enforce his own rules on who he chose to enforce them on. Two people who obviously looked very similar to his build, walked in completely barefooted, and he was happy to serve them. He watched us like a hawk and made us uncomfortable. As someone who has spent an incredible amount of money at IHG hotels, and even worked for your company this was despicable. Secondary to that as far as sanitation goes even if I was barefoot and I had taken a shower in the last 24 hours walking in barefoot to a food serving area would be more sanitary than putting on old tennis shoes. All of that being said, there was literally no reason for him to pick us out of the people that were at breakfast and target us in an unjust manner to try to enforce his 1940s German like regime. And then when someone came in, that looks like him, he was more than happy to mean mug us the entire time. Absolutely unacceptable. Had this been anywhere else but an IHG hotel that Man and I would have stepped outside and handled it. I have too much respect for your establishments to cause chaos.

Guest relations is always right on top of things. Breakfast has lots of choices but would be great a tad earlier. We truly enjoy staying at this hotel. The location is great and there are lots of easy access points.

I don't know how to express our gratitude for your hospitality and kindness. We were passing through on our way to Las Vegas to bring our grandchildren home, when we decided to stop at your hotel for the night. On our way to Grand Junction, we had problems with our truck. Thankfully, there was a Ford dealership close by. This meant having to stay another night while our truck was being repaired. On the morning after the second night, instead of rebooking our room the hotel was kind enough to let us wait in the lobby. We had no vehicle to leave. After about 3 hours, the truck was ready. We are forever grateful to all the staff that helped us and let us just "hang out". We definitely recommend staying here

We spent one night here on our 13 day trip. Check in was very slow, seems the guest checking in before us had a problem and it took both people behind the desk about 10 minutes to correct. |Room was nice and clean. Plenty of towels and pillows that were regular size, not the throw pillow size that we encountered at other hotels on our trip.|Breakfast was your typical fare. Scrambled eggs, a sausage of some type.|Great location but very pricey for a Holiday Inn Express.

The heater in the room is super loud asking it hard to sleep. The shower was lukewarm. The tile around the pool is super slick and a safety issue. The breakfast was terrible.
