Ordered my Brenda Gantt cookbook #3 in May . Was sent a shipping number in early August saying delivered by the 17 th . Emailed them after the 17th to let them know it says in transit from the same area for 5 days . They told me it would be delivered by the 31st . Still not delivered . I have called and emailed with no answer or response as of sept 3rd . Horrible Company . Wish Brenda had another company publish her books . Such a great lady doing business with an awful company .

Received 2 of Brenda Gantt’s cook books. Ready to order the 3rd. Great cookbooks and excellent service from Hoffman

Absolutely horrible customer service! I placed my order in early November for the reprint of the second Brenda Gannt cookbook. I never received it. Contacted Hoffman media via email, was told that the USPS returned my item saying they left notice due to no safe place to leave the package. This is inaccurate as we have post office mail boxes at our property as well as my front porch where packages are left all the time. Hoffman media has received the book back as confirmed by usps tracking information and is refusing to refund or replace my order. I was told I had to wait 8-10 business days for them to process the return of the book and then another 3-5 business days for a refund. They’ve had my money almost 2 months with no product. I hate writing this because I love Brenda, but other people need to know this company has shady business practices. I requested they just replace my book with a new one instead of a refund, they refused! Extremely rude customer service agents as well.

I did not receive my order although I received email confirmation of invoice and later, shipping. When I tracked the order, it had been returned for incomplete address even though entire, correct address was in the emails from them. Hoffman Media never reached out for verification of address by email or phone. Customer service did not respond to my emails. When I reached them by phone, they said the first book is sold out. I have already ordered and received several food items that Brenda uses in anticipation of the cookbook. I hope there is another reprint although customer service indicated that it's not expected. I wish Brenda could find a more reputable publisher. I am not one to do reviews, especially negative reviews. Beware of this publisher.

I was weary about placing an order after reading all of the negative reviews. However, I really wanted to get my memaw the Brenda Gantt cookbook for Christmas so I took a chance. I received the book earlier than I thought as the listing stated the books wouldn’t even be shipped until middle/ late November and could take weeks for shipping. It’s November 18th and I have the book!

I've been trying to get a refund on a book I never received. I've spoken with "customer service" numerous times. After 2 months of getting the run around, they still haven't refunded my money. Every time I call they say my request has to be reviewed.My next step is to call my credit card company.

This company does not deliver items as promised. I was told I would receive an order at the end of April but as of mid May I have not received my order. I did get a tracking number on May 4ty but when I try to check the status of my order the USPS says that they are still awaiting the package to ship. So Hoffman Media sent out tracking numbers for items that they still have not sent to actually be mailed almost 10 days later. When I contacted customer service I was told they are hoping to get them shipped in the next 6-9 days. They are offering no compensation other than an I'm sorry to account for their lives and lack of service. I tried to speak to someone else who could give me more information and was hung up on. When I called back I was told that since it's in shipping status (even though all they really did was print a shipping label that won't actually get to the USPS to ship for another 2 weeks) I have to talk to someone in shipping and they were just going to pass me off to another person who couldn't help me. Don't use them if you can avoid it

Quality books. However, placed an order for a backordered book with a credit card that had to be replaced later due to compromise elsewhere. Later when book became available Hoffman never contacted us to update card, just allowed transaction to fail.
