We were in town for one night and wanted to stay in the middle of it. This historic hotel was awesome. You can see all the history. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and our food servers were very attentive. The showers, although a lottle tight/small had immediate hot water and the shower head was prefect. The temperature in the rooms are adjustable and we made it just perfect for us. There is a parking lot the next street over (pass obtained from front desk) but it wasn't bad. It is said that the hotel is haunted, but we didn't encounter any ghosts
We will definitely stay again when we are in town.

Very cool Historic hotel! Our room was small but comfortable. You can't beat the charm and character of an historic building. Beautiful lobby and bar. Restaurant had an excellent breakfast. The only problem we had was regulating the heat in our room. It was 11 degrees the night we stayed, and the room was so hot. Would still stay here again.

We visited for lunch. The new restoration of Lobby and Restaurant was perfectly done. BEAUTIFUL! Although the service was good, the food, did not match the ambience. I would love for them to hire a chef to make it an all-round wonderful experience.

What an incredible experience all around! A very large group of friends (50+) got together to celebrate Halloween together here, and I cannot say enough. This is a true gem of a hotel, made even more wonderful by the absolutely wonderful staff!||The remodel of the main floor is stunning and has a great bar and a fantastic restaurant. The rooms all had comfortable, plush mattresses. And, they were thoughtful enough to include a sound machine in each room. I slept like a baby.||Above and beyond this though, truly, was the staff of the hotel. Jasmine and Brittny especially were the most gracious, fun, and accommodating hosts. We were a big, boisterous group, and did it all with multiple Halloween costume changes. Not only was the whole staff incredibly kind (and full of fun tidbits about the history of the hotel), but they wound up joining right in on the fun with costumes of their own! ||If you are anywhere near Leadville, absolutely go check this place out!

This stunning mining boom hotel has left us with fond memories and a great appreciation for the lovingly completed restoration. Brittany at the front desk was a superb hostess and team leader, and Nelson in the bar gave great service. We adored the authentic Victorian decor. The restaurant and bar were so well done and food was very good. The building is original, so expect squeaks and even a little lean, but that’s part of the charm. Our room was perfectly clean and comfortable. There are fans (no AC up here) and central heating. An elevator is supposed to be added within a year. Coffee is available on the second floor in the mornings. We cannot say enough about this delightful hotel and hope to return again on each Colorado trip.

What a cool spot to stay right in the middle of Leadville. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The staff was amazing, especially Ray, she went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and comfortable. Thank you.

I was with a group that visited just before Halloween. The staff was welcoming, helpful, accommodating, and so wonderful to interact with all weekend. Yasmine and Brittany are rockstars and Danny is fantastic behind the bar! On top of that, the hotel itself is beautiful. Rooms were clean and cozy. And it was fun interacting with the local spirits 😉 We 100% will come back!

This place was incredible. The staff was so helpful, accommodating and friendly. The hotel is SO COOL and they had so many wonderful little authentic touches. Our group was large and a lot of work and they rocked it. I would definitely go back. Do NOT miss out on eating at their restaurant. Absolutely fabulous food.
