Love shopping here for all my comic needs. Great prices on Key Issues and back issues alike. A great place to also hang out, talk shop , and get in some games of Pokemon or Commander. Great Pokemon league on Tuesday nights.

One of my favorite places ever sense I was a kid. Never had a bad interaction with the person behind the counter, always willing to help(if they can). Will order things for the customers. The atmosphere was always great when I use to join in on fnm. I'm into collecting and painting miniatures nowadays, Hawghead has a decent selection. Plus a good selection of novelty items, so if you wanna buy someone a gift this is a great place to check out. I like to support my local shop when I can. Do you? ? I hope to see you on the passer-by.

I drove over an hour, 1-way, to pickup a $200 card they were advertising on their TCGplayer page. The owner refused to pull the card because "he has a guy for that". Told me to pay for it online and come back the next day. No thanks, I'll just shop elsewhere. It's a high end collectible, I'm not blindly paying over $200 without inspecting the card first, why else would I drive so far?
I used to be a weekly customer here for nearly 10 years, I have no idea what happened during Covid, but this is not the store I remember.

Best shop in town, best prices, and the owner has earned my patronage for several years. If the location were larger, you could bet that there would be a full house every night there was an event. I would encourage anyone who needs an LGS to visit Hawghead.

Have stopped in here quite a few times with a friend and this is most definitely one of the better comic shops in Arkansas. Mike, the owner is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He is opinionated, but so am I and I personally like this trait in people. He has a decent selection of comics that could be larger, (more indies would be nice), but he does have a really amazing subscription program and will order anything you want, he will even ship them to you if you live out of town. Overall a great comic experience.

Mike has the best Magic prices in the area, a wide selection of competitively priced singles, lots of storage options and gear available, tons of great comic geek merchandise, and oh, he even sells comics. His tournaments are organized, the gaming spaces are well lit, and the bathroom is always clean. There is a reason this place has been around so long, so do yourself a favor and stop in, say hey to Mike, and take a look around, because I'm certain you will be glad you did.

I've been going to the shop for the better part of the last two decades. When I was little it was THE place to crack pokemon packs. As I've grown and my interests has changed it seems like the store has anticipated those changes and caters to my liking. Great selection of back issues. A gigantic library of very well organized mtg cards. And the lowest priced packs should cracking be on your agenda. For me the store takes me back to better times when all i had to worry about was if i was going to open a Charizard or not. You cant put a price on that. It's a great store and to many a pillar of the community ran by a stand up dude who will take care of whatever you need.
