I agree with others that said this hotel is worse for wear. It really was worn down and I can only assume that they will close it down and renovate it. It just seemed like repairs were too numerous to keep up with. The blind in our room was shredded on one side and the chain was so tangled that it could not be raised. Lots of dents and little things that need to be fixed.

Room service was every other day, which is fine, but it was supposed to include making/changing the bed but the only thing they did was drop off new towels and take the tip. When we checked in the surface by the TV was sticky and the old coffee packet was still in the machine. Trash in the hall was overflowing for at least 24 hours. The pool and hot tub had stuff floating on them. The toaster and microwave in the kitchen area did not work (bad outlets?). Breakfast also closed early without asking the people there if they needed anything else. The bathroom, room and hall were also very dimly lit.

$7/day parking for a suburban hotel seemed unreasonable.

Overall, this fell way short of the other Hampton Inns we have stayed at and enjoyed.

Ellen at the front desk was very friendly and professional.

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend for our late Valentines date, so I had made a reservation here at the Hampton , although I did do it on price line In Order to get the best price for the night . I had a really long day, I was extremely tired , and I couldn't wait to get into that quiet room and relax until my BF could come and meet me. Well upon checking in I discovered I made mistake and I filled in the information wrong for the hotel guest . I assumed it was asking the name of my guest because I had just filled in my billing info for my card . Like I said I was tired but I feel like it was a honest mistake . Anyway I'm not too sure his name but this was at 7ish pm on Tuesday the 18. Well he couldn't find my name so I started thinking well maybe I had put my bf name and sure enough I did. Front desk Guy hardly let me talk , I couldn't explain if I wanted to . So I proceeded to tell him my mistake and asked him if he knew how I could go about to getting this corrected he sternly told me no . And said he doesn't deal with 3rd party agencies, and continued to go on and on about rules are rules as if I was asking him to let me check in anyway which I hadn't even suggested or implied that was what I wanted to do. I left because he was not only rude but inconsiderate with no compassion considering it was 3° degrees outside he tells me to step outside to call priceline . It was than I decided I did not want to stay there at all whether I could change the name on my reservation or just have my bf come in and check in. The guy was one of the most unwelcoming persons I've ever encountered in hospitality. Anyway it turned out priceline didn't have a say but they could request a name change for the reservation I asked about cancelation and again it was up to the hotel if they wanted to accommodate a cancellation I knew just by the way the front desk interacted with me he wasn't going to honor either one the name change or the cancellation. I waited patiently on hold while priceline contacted and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk . I was right he wouldn't honor either so I figured I'll just have my bf check us in but than got into a car accident on our way there due to the black ice . Fortunately neither one of us were hurt and luckily there was no other parties involved but we did lose our car that night. Yeah I had to let it all sit in and was reminded I couldn't get a refund on the room because it was in the hands of some one that shouldn't be the face of any hotel . It it would be at the hotel's discretion I knew that the guy wasn't going to cancel and refund me so I didn't even bother to call and ask......

Unfortunately this Hampton is a little worse for wear, like some of the other Reviewers have pointed out. The location is good, but the good list stops there. The not-so-good list, 1) Bathroom lighting is more than dim, 2) Bed sheets stained, 3) Breakfast was closed, 4) Moldy oranges on the lobby table, in place of the missing breakfast. Summary: Much room for improvement.

The staff were overly nice to me. I was able to talk to 3 of the women working the front desk, they kept me entertained. Amie was awesome as well as the people that were on that shift. There was another person I wish I could put a name to. The hotel itself isn't a 5 star but the staff are amazing. I would definitely come back. Specifically because the staff that I've talked to has been incredibly nice. I felt like I was talking to a group of friends instead of just a customer.

This is a bottom 25% Hampton Inn. The breakfast is quite lame - the regular hot plate food but no yogurt, no fresh fruit (unless you call those sad oranges in the corner no one would take fresh fruit). They don't make up your room every day, and when they do they don't replace the in-room coffee. Housekeeping otherwise generally poor, dirt in every corner. Room furnishings, towels, flooring rather worn out with kind of a wet dog smell and wallpaper is falling off the walls in stairwell. No free parking here. Walking distance to a couple of sandwich shops in a pretty quiet safe neighborhood. Good freeway access.

I honestly do not understand the bad reviews. This hotel was excellent from the friendly helpful staff down to the breakfast. The pool is open late and was very clean. Beverages such as coffee and tea available 24 hours. Loved the shampoo and body wash in stock in rooms. Was actually good value. The front desk was amazing. We loved it and we would 💯 stay here again.

This is one of the nicer hotels in this part of town. Room was clean and seemed to be in good shape. Breakfast was pretty decent for this type of hotel. Staff was very nice! My room had an issue with a missing blind, so it was really bright at night. I didn't tell the front desk until the next day, because I was really tired. It was bright enough to wake me up, though, so wish I had told them about it earlier. Also, they charge $7 for parking here. It's on their web page, but it is such a money grab and something you wouldn't think of in a suburban hotel. There are other hotels without paid parking and tons of shopping centers with parking nearby. I almost rated this a 3 just because of the parking. If it wasn't for the parking charge, I'd definitely stay here again.
