This shop consistently misrepresents its products and sells to the unlucky victims, as noted by several other reviewers. I can confirm these accounts, as I was also ripped off by this establishment. I unfortunately bought a firearm for well above its value and they told me to kick rocks when attempting to rectify. This was not an isolated incident and I strongly advise against shopping here. The staff was unfriendly and inattentive, further aligning with other customer complaints.

I unfortunately, like others feel misled. I purchased a firearm based on incorrect information I received from the counter person that indicated a higher quality than it turned out to be. I paid more as a result. My mistake, I took their word for it, Should have been more vigilant. Buyer Beware.

Purchased a pistol from them over the phone had 0 issues. I was really happy hoe everything turned out Im from another state. If they had a better be online site there's a good chance I might buy more from them. Had me wishing I was closer.

Im sure the store is great though and great deals for the most part.

Last May, I decided to sell a firearm, I saw online that Green Mountain Guns had a 15% fee for consigning firearms online through Gunbroker. When I went there, after filling out all the paperwork, the fee changed to 25%. I decided to go ahead and list the item with them, which was a mistake. They said they would mail me a check when my gun sold.

I was told the firearm would sell in about 2 weeks. After a month of no communication, I called them. I was told there was no record of my firearm, despite me having a carbon copy of the consignment form. I called back a few days later, and I was told they did have my firearm, but they did not know if it sold or not. Every week or two, I called, and I was eventually told my gun was sold, but the person on the phone apparently wasn't authorized to tell me what it sold for.

Finally, after a few months, I was told my gun sold and for how much, but they had no record of them agreeing to send me a check. I live over an hour away, so I again requested them to send a check, which they then agreed to do. After two weeks, no check had arrived. I called and got a helpful person named Makenzie who assured me the owner would call me back and set things right after I told her my story. After two weeks of not getting a call back, I'm on the phone with them again.

So I have consigned a gun, and they refuse to send me the money per our agreement, and whenever I call the owner is "not here at the moment." Apparently I've been ripped off. I've spent 4 months trying to get my money so far. I called them today and they hung up on me twice, and eventually promised to send me another check. They claim to have unreliable postal service.

I've purchased several firearms from these guys, my first hunting rifle, and now hopefully just bought one that will be my go-to hunting rifle for many years. They are always very helpful in finding what you need and providing the best information.

both kaitlyn and josh are amazing and very knowledgable. picked up a sig and was very impressed with the knowledge and customer service at green mountain. kaitlyn is very friendly and knowledgable, super easy to talk to when you dont know something, no one made me feel weird about not being a gun expert, just helpful and overall a great experience. i will for sure be coming back
