The woman employee working this morning very clearly attempted to scam me. I handed her a single drink to buy and she scanned it, set it in front of me, then set a neck pillow next to it, and then told me my total was over $19? I had to double take at the screen to make sure I heard her right, and when I said I only had the drink, she just smirked, said sorry, and took the neck pillow off. I’d like to give the benefit of a doubt, but it was very clearly a scam considering how she purposely set the pillow with the drink. It was early morning and there was no one else in front of me. She was just standing there doing nothing when I walked up. I’ve stopped in here many times this year, and absolutely won’t spend another penny there. Double check your purchases there.

This was my first time in Idaho. My son and I drove a HUGE U-Haul truck from Texas. He moved right outside of Boise. I was to fly back. Then the whole Microsoft/ Crowdstrike outage. So I was stranded at the airport for quite a while. After a while I decided to look at the Green Belt Magazine Shop for some souvenirs for my wife and seven year old son. They had the perfect tshirt for my. As he is a huge Star Wars fan, I had seen they had a Idaho Star Wars Darth Vadar potato shirt. They didn't have his size. So I asked the woman if they had a smaller size. I could barely finish my sentence when she says "THE OTHER LOCATION DOWN THE WAY WILL HAVE THEM". Oh ok? Thank you. ( no response) I walked down to the other end. I looked around the other store and didn't see any of those. I asked the lady behind the counter. "THEY WILL HAVE THEM AT THE OTHER STORE". So I said, they sent me here. " Well, I guess we don't have them do we?" So with the stern attitude from both locations, I decided not to purchase anything. So I left. But being this is an international airport and has a constant flow of customers, my bad experience won't matter in the least. So hopefully you have a better experience than I did. Be well.

As a fan of Greenbelt Magazine and the amazing Tia Markland, I always drop by. Quite the eclectic array of wares. Staff is good, if overworked - got great service from a guy named Eddie (he also did the same at the CNBC shop).
