Graphaids Art Supplies

Wife was looking for a fountain pen and we met Jerry. He discusses with her what she was looking for in a pen and provided her with options...she loves her new pen! Very well stocked with artist supplies!

I was asked to repaint 6 old Christmas lawn cutouts. I used a combination of Nova Color, Liquitex, and Graphaids Acrylic. The only color I mixed using solely Graphaids was the lining color (Mars Black & Raw Umber). When I went to varnish with Modern Masters Exterior Dead Flat Varnish, the lining work was reactivated and smeared! Interestingly, it completely wiped off when painted over Nova Color Titanium White. I've never had this problem with any type of acrylic paint before and will never again use Graphaids Acrylics for exterior work.

Very helpful staff, and fantastic products and prices. Avi helped me pick out my dream plein air painting easel complete with a pochade box and umbrella. I am new to plein air painting and he also helped explain the background of the art so I feel confident at my meetup group tomorrow. I got out of there with everything I need - easel, paper paints brushes tripod, everything, for a very reasonable price. I would not feel so enthusiastic about tomorrow had I not met Avi today. Very happy. Update: the meetup went fantastic and I will be back to this shop for more mediums like oils for future events. This place saved the day.

This place is the best! They have all the things- true artist grade quality products, fair to good prices, and a friendly, dedicated, knowledgeable staff.

If I died I would want to come here - it’s like heaven. Especially since everything sells online now makes me feel good small stores can survive. There is so much to choose from and it’s all top notch. You aren’t thinking, “I could find that” or “this would cost less” online. Just go there and you will find reasonable prices and excellent selection for beginners and professionals. The store is small but it uses every opportunity to display well! The people are nice and helpful. And, if you can’t find it, ask! I bet they’ll have whatever it is.

This is an amazing art supply store! They stock so many tools to be creative, it's not difficult to be inspired. Great relaxed shopping experience. Jerry and his team really know their stuff and are so willing to help! The wide selections of unique products and their creative shopping environment reflect a long, long history in providing professional art supplies and caring about the needs of local artists. Although the crafting person will find jems here like specialty papers and cool paint pens, this is a store that provides the highest quality artist materials for museum quality results and beyond. If there is something that you don't find here, they will bend over backwards to find it and get it for you if they can. I highly recommend checking out Graphaids Agoura. Consistently the best shop for true artist materials!

Fun, well-stocked and the decor is funky and inspiring. Plenty of supplies for all kinds of art. Employees are helpful and this is a great place to stop by for supplies and creative inspiration.

This place is awesome! The owner and clerk are always helpful. They have competitive prices- matching another known art store, but the service is incredible here!!!
