The fitting rooms closing were the nail on the coffin of this place. It's annoying that they did, but just about every Goodwill in Idaho has made the same decision at this point. This Goodwill in particular also needs to work on several things. Every time I come in, like other reviews say, it's a negative environment immediately. It feels like you're doing the employees a disservice just by being there. There are a few nice employees, like the two men who work up front on occasion, but everyone else I've talked to is either condescending or not polite. I used to come multiple times a week and now I come maybe once every 6 months if that. It's not worth the overpriced goods, bad return policy, bad customer service, and inability to try things on to visit often. Also like said previously, other Goodwills also have no fitting rooms and overpriced items. The Goodwill locations in Idaho Falls and Twin Falls are much better than here, even with the same policies. It's not as much those that are the problem, but more the feeling of dread right as you walk in.

Multiple times an item doesn’t have a price tag and the store won’t let you purchase said item. I also came in and this is the second time an item has been “incorrectly” priced they write in permanent marker and the tags said something else. Both times the employees have acted like I switched the tags. The tags both times were very much stuck on there. Both times the manager was called overhead and they went with the sticker price because it was very stuck. Congrats embarrassing customers to fill your CEO’s pockets when it’s not their fault your employees messed up. Honestly debating if it’s worth coming in. It’s not my fault your employees messed up while pricing items.

My favorite part about this Goodwill is that the prices are set for each category. Coats are all one price, tank tops are all one price, t-shirts are all one price, etc.. I went to the DI down the street from here and they had coats priced all of the way over $100 (and they weren't even high quality or amazing), you won't find that here (hallelujah). There is a lot of stuff to look through here. This store in particular had the largest Halloween selection I've seen at any other thrift store yet. Seemed pretty clean and well organized too. The employees were also super nice and friendly. Make sure you follow them on social media for extra good deals!

This store is only for the rich as low income people cannot afford it. $12.99 for a sweatshirt? Selling fake name brand handbags ($24.99) for outrageous prices. This is a second hand store not retail Walmart or Target and you're selling everything at retail prices which is wrong. Your CEO sits on a yacht. Getting rich of normal people. You should be ashamed of your selfs. I knew people who worked for goodwill they says it not helping anyone but the pocket of the CEO. Disgusting.

There's allot to complain about...
They close the fitting rooms due to drug use and vandalism? And give you a small window to take clothes back. When returned, you only get store credit. Sounds like convenient excuses for a money grab. Some items are fine, but most are a little spendy. The employees do not treat you like people, you can tell they hate their job and most anyone who walks in. The atmosphere is not welcoming. You got the owner here, responding to complaint reviews, like we're the problem, twisting the problems we're experiencing and claiming you should expect it all. Now that's sad. I don't expect empathy or sorrow, I think this is what the owner wants, and nothing is changing anytime soon. Goodwill in Pocatello - minus one lifepoint. Never had a problem with Goodwill in Idaho Falls when I lived there - plus one lifepoint. Doesn't matter what organization or corporation it is, you always get good and bad locations, I guess!

Pretty unfortunate that this has to be stated, but this Goodwill is using the threat of theft and vandalism as a way of stealing money from hardworking people. I recently purchased roughly $40 worth of jeans and because I couldn't try them on due to the closing of the fitting rooms. I was under the assumption that I would be paid back in cash or refunded on my card for the transaction. I ended up returning two pairs of pants and only to receive $20 in STORE CREDIT. It is only AFTER the transaction is completed on the receipt (which is barely legible) that states you only get store credit for returns. Absolutely unbelievable! I paid an institution for clothes that they had gotten for free and in turn they keep my money while I return clothes that do not fit me. I understand that people (particularly kids) like to steal, but there are plenty of ways to resolve that problem besides hurting everyone's ability to access cheaper clothing options. Highly recommend you don't use this store and fund their predatory tactics.

I've been shopping at Goodwill since its old location, and I'm extremely dissatisfied with the recent changes. Permanently closing the dressing rooms and only providing store credit is an awful idea. The sign says that it's for "customer safety." Were people getting beat up in the fitting rooms? Are we supposed to be concerned about our safety in the store? If the cräckheads have infiltrated the dressing rooms, you should hire more staff. They could have a worker open the fitting rooms like they used to do at the old location. Because of this, I feel I will be shopping there less.
