Got my passport at this location, Vickie Swift was extremely helpful and kind. Vickie got my documentation reviewed and copied and I was out of the door in less than 10 minutes. I scheduled my appointment with Vickie and she sent an email back with all the information I or anyone needed for the entire process. Make sure you have every document, triple check, read all the information and have backups to be safe!

It saddens me that the highest star rating that I can give this city is a 5 since it is so much more. This city has such a rich and diversified history starting all the way back when it was founded in 1859 by its namesake Thomas L. Golden, a miner and prospector from Georgia. Before Colorado became a state, the city of Golden was named the territorial capital due to its popular location in the Great Colorado Gold Rush of the mid 1800's until 1867 when Colorado was granted statehood and Denver became the official capital. Today Golden is a outdoor enthusiasts dream come true, hiking, biking, mountain climbing and so much more. Golden sits at the base of the Colorado foothills and along the Clear creek river, which is the main artery that supplies many Colorado cities with its drinking water supply. Due to its history and old west small town appeal, Golden is a huge tourist destination, which can make the city seem very crowded, but everybody is friendly and welcoming. There are many activities such as farmers markets, arts festivals, and a special event called "Buffalo Bill Days" at the end of July to celebrate and remember the times and life of William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody. Who is interred and has a monument atop lookout mountain. So much to see and do in Golden, so plan to visit today!

I would give them 0. Received a parking ticket for slightly parking in front of a sign, while snow and ice has already limited parking. I had a parking pass but one of the dugout spots was slightly in front of a sign, not a good sign of community helping one another. After 14 days my ticket doubled in price they don’t even give you time to resolve this issue Savage !

Very festive. Golden has really grown up, but the memories of a small town still linger in my mind. A very beautiful light display this year has increased the good memory card. I'm adding this to my "must visit" Christmas list.
