3 of us booked a trip with FPA and couldn’t have asked for a better time. We’re from Texas and have very little experience fly fishing, but Jordan was extremely accommodating. He started us off with the basics and did a great job tasking us with new techniques at the appropriate time for each of us. I highly recommend booking a trip through FPA, and specifically having Jordan as your guide although I’m sure you’ll be in good hands with any of their guides.

My husband and I just spent half a day on the Fryingpan River with Carter fly fishing. We had such an amazing experience. He was very knowledgeable and patient with us as we were newbies and often tangled our lines. He showed us the correct techniques that proved successful. He did everything to help ensure that we could catch fish. My husband and I each caught three fish. When my husband slipped and fell completely in the water, Carter was there to yank him out very quickly. I would highly recommend their team.

These are some absolutely stellar people with great customer service. I found a reel that I thought I’d never get my hands on at this shop. They sent it all the way to Texas with the upmost care and communicated every step of the way. My first trip to Colorado I will definitely be visiting these great people!!!

Excellent shop with a great staff. Spent a day on the river with Nate, he was incredibly knowledgable and an all around awesome guide. If you’re looking for a guided trip in the Roaring Fork Valley I can’t recommend these guys enough.

So today was my 3rd fly fishing guide! First one on Sacramento River and second one on Snake River
1st tour was exceptional, second one horrible, even tho I was in the most beautiful part of the country floating Snake River, today was the absolute best day of my short experience fly fishing! My husband booked us a guide with Taylor out of Frying Pan Anglers, this young lady had so much positive energy, patience, and knew where to take us to catch many beautiful Rainbows, Browns, Cut Bow, and not to mention she is a very knowledgeable young woman and who can kick the pants off of any guy! Thank u for the best experience I have ever had and! I am forever greatful for this wonderful experience. We look forward to coming back and fishing with you again. Taylor u rock

Booked a trip thru Frying Pan Anglers at their Glenwood Spgs Colorado location July 23, 2022. This was for my 15 yr old grandson from Texas 1st lesson. His guide was Adam and we fished the Frying Pan. What a great day with lots of fish caught. Thank you, Adam.

Great folks in a great town. Independently owned and they are on the water enough to know what's working. I don't always spend $7 on Sparkle Minnows, but when I do, I do it here.
