Well designed book store! One would not have thought it is a friend of the library’s book store. Love how they put books around Bay Area in the entrance!

Use to like the old location. This one pretty cool. Most things are pretty much market value which is fine. I’m a sales kind of shopper and I asked one lady one time if they ever have any sales. She kinda just gave me a dirty look and said no in a very serious manner and that was that. I’m guessing they have relatively slow sales because I’ll go in and see the same things just sitting there with the same price from like a year ago. Would be cool if you guys would at least have some sales days through the year. It’s not a bad thing to have discounts but they seem to hate the idea of having a sale. Would increase traffic for sure that’s the point of it for any business. Literally loosing money the longer you hold inventory.

Fantastic selections. I was told that it’s better to shop online if you want something specific. They have lots of books in storage for purchase. Very reasonable prices, too. If you’re a book lover, you should stop by and have a look!

They have an eclectic collection of books, movies and music DVDs. Apparently, these are donations that didn't make it to the library shelves. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. I actually like this place better than the Pleasant Hill library which has tried to become too many things. If you are a nerdy bibliophile that likes older reading material, try this bookstore.

Fantastic store, I've been a devoted customer since they opened in Pleasant Hill downtown and still visiting frequently. That, however, will change soon and I don't know if I will ever go back there because of the staff. Starting with their first location, not even once have I been greeted with a simple hello or even if it's fake, a little smile. Those ladies who work there are so incredibly rude, they're full of resentments. Bunch of extremely rude robots, don't even acknowledge your presence. As much as I love the store and know the proceeds are helping a good cause, I am not going to subject myself to such hostile behavior.

I took my Great Granddaughter to buy her some books. She is 5 and just learning to read. We found books and puzzles we now enjoy. It's a pleasant little place with very nice employees and great prices. We will be returning soon.

I miss the old set up. Where the kids books were right in front by the door an light. Spaced out for you to search an explore. Now the kids section is kidder in the back up against a wall. It’s dark, cramped, an some of the books are so high the little kids can’t really look.

We would shop here every week up until they moved. The original location in downtown PH was nice. You were able to grab coffee an lunch an a book. This new location is out of the way.

If you spend time looking you can find some pretty cheap books that retail for more in the kids section.

I really do think they need to switch the store around. Move the puzzles an games to the back an bring up the kids section.
