***Edit to respond to owner:
In the picture, you can see 10 primers that were struck and failed to fire. Primers do not expire. What this obviously means is that those primers were going to fail to fire if I had taken them out the day I got the ammo delivered. What this means is you just don’t stand behind your product which is a shame. I buy ammo to keep for range sessions, not to shoot up in 90 days.

***Original review:
Very surprised at the lack of customer service. I have ordered several thousand rounds of 9mm from this company, but my last order I accidentally ordered steel instead of brass. When I noticed it, I decided to go shoot them up, took 4 boxes with me and in 4 boxes there was 10 failure to fire. I asked the company if they would take back the rest of the steel, or just give me a discount code on my next brass order to make it right, and they respond that since my order was placed more than 90 days prior, they wouldn’t do anything to help. What a shockingly terrible way to stand behind your product and stand with your customer. The brass stuff was fine, but they get 1 star for how they handled the steel situation.

I’ll stick to the facts. As it has been said here, Freedom is selective in their “Moderation” of reviews on their website, you can’t hide here Freedom. Why not post all reviews on your website both positive and negative?

I wish I had a positive review this time but despite firing numerous rounds flawlessly in various calibers from 38 special to .357 to 9mm to 45 acp, your .454 Casull ammo left me short.

6 rounds loaded and after firing 3 rounds, the cylinder locked up and the remaining rounds had become distorted, the bullet heads walked forward from the brass casing making them longer and nonfunctional.

This happened again after 2 rounds fired on the 2nd set of 6 loaded up. In edition I had 3 dry fires. I’ll be looking to see if my review gets past the Moderators on your website.

My Return of the ammo is still ongoing as UPS would not take the ammo for return shipping causing me grief for over 2 weeks until I paid an additional $10 for doorstep pickup on top of what I paid for defective ammo just to get the ammo back to you.

Got my order from them today for 1,000 rounds it shipped very quickly and I'm happy for that. It was supposed to come in ammo cans and it didn't. I called and talk to a customer service girl. She said she cannot modify or change orders. All I wanted was my ammo cans that's one of the main reasons I ordered it is that's how I would store it. She was no help at all.

I see all the low reviews on here and I gotta say that I have only had good experiences using Freedom Munitions.

I think some of these guys are prima donnas. I order the same stuff pretty much .223/5.56, 300 Blkout, 9mm 147gr hp defense rounds and 12x47 (.50 Beowulf.) Not once have I had any issues with the .50 Beowulf or the 9mm or the 300 Blk.

The only one that I had any minor issue with is the remanufactured .223.

That was small imperfections in the brass, which didn't affect performance and hell... for the prices they are selling them for (.39 a round) I can afford to throw those out and they are still a bargain!

As a disabled customer I gave specific instruction for delivery to a dry secure place at my home. No communication was given to UPS for $1,400.00 worth of ammunition which was left 200 yards from my home, near the street in the rain. The boxes clearly marked as ammunition!! After 8 trips with heavy soggy boxes being carried in a five gallon bucket, I contacted Freedom Munitions only to be told to send photos and save the melted cardboard boxes to make a claim against UPS. LIKE THIS IS MY PROBLEM!!! NOT MY MONKEY!! NOT MY PROBLEM!! TARGET SPORTS IS THE BIG WINNER… They will get the rest of my orders , along with all my range members. Here in Washington state they are pushing through legislation to put an additional 11% excise tax on ammo, and limit bulk ammo purchases. You just lost thousands of dollars in business in the next 2 months!

No integrity in this company... I left a review for faulty ammo and it was never posted in their website (hand picking reviews). CS dismissed my concerns, I don't think that ammo that's meant to be carried should be this inconsistent. The amount of lead extruding between the copper petals changes greatly from one round to another, I can't expect consistent results from this.

Edit:
A flaw on carry ammo should not be acceptable, while the expansion might not be affected the weight difference between one round an another will definitely affect the trajectory.

I purchased ammo from Freedom, recommended by a friend. Their prices were great and the time of purchase they had a promotion going on when you spent over $400 you received a free pair of Vortex Triumph binoculars. So I put together a cart of various calibers together which got me over $400. As I received the order, no binoculars. I call their customer service and was told they ran out of the binos and it was while supplies last. The overall tone wasn’t great either. I was under the impression that I was going to receive them but was wrong. I’m not sure if it was a bait and switch situation for a bump in sales or what. I’m curious if anyone received those binos with their purchase. Overall I will be purchasing ammo elsewhere

I will update my review as soon as I actually receive my ammo and can shoot it. I ordered 500 rounds of .300BLK on 12/31/24. I get that the following day was a holiday. I was told at checkout due to high volume they need 5-7 business days to process. On business day 8 (14th actual day) they finally got me tracking information. Now it's stuck in Spokane with an estimated delivery of 1/21/25. If they can't handle order fulfillment, then stick to making mediocre ammo and let a 3rd party provider do the fulfillment. Lucky Gunner, ammo.com, bulkammo.com and several others charge about the same for shipping and always ship (not just a tracking number) same day 7 days a week and holidays.
