Great little book shop. Fair prices and gently used books. One of the clerks said they were still growing. There’s some cute signs and stickers and it’s right next to the new blue spruce coffee place. So a great place to relax and enjoy a good read.
They also have a rewards program for locals and books for discount. Truly a lovely little place with really nice owners. Can’t wait to see what other hidden gems I’ll find.

Very cute bookstore! I met the owner (I forgot her name) and the gentleman working and they were both so nice! Great selection. An awesome rewards program. They even had bookmarks that she makes! Very welcoming environment. Will be back. Thank you!

Relocated and still taking inventory, I had been looking forward to frequenting the new-and-improved Foxtail Books for months! So, for the last few weeks, I've popped in occasionally and they have yet to disappoint - with all of my trips resulting in found fiction that I had little luck finding even in Boise/Meridian.

If you love books, used or otherwise, you'll find your new titles and out-of-print authors here. All their inventory looks to be in great (if not new) condition, and I've yet to encounter an unfair price.

They also have book accessories in the form of handmade bookmarks, stationary, notebooks, and shelf flair... As if I need to feed that addiction anymore! Ha!

This has become my favorite leisure stop in Mountain Home simply for its lovely organization and presentation, but it's quickly solidified itself in my mind as the place to go if you can't find something anywhere elsewhere.
