They librarians are helpful, professional, and kind. Good services are available digitally as well.

We enjoy visiting the Farr Library. It is always clean and organized and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. They offer a great selection of books but they also offer many other things like activities for children, audio books, movies, comfortable seating areas to sit and read or meet, a snack room with vending machines and tables, computers and printers to use while at the library and much more. My son enjoys visiting and would happily while away the day there.

Recently went to the farr library to check out a tarot event and it was done absolutely wonderful by the ladies running it! Their programs are super nice and have a great variety! Will defs be visiting this library more!

Such a wonderful place to read and be a part of the community that provides beautiful literature and education for everyone!
I’ve also had the great pleasure of performing at the library a couple of times myself. Both times as per the UNC Day of Music, where all performing arts students take a full day away from classes and go out into the community to give free concerts to the public.

One thing I think that would add a great variety to their calendar are more music performances, even where performers could be paid for their services. Plus it brings more patrons, donors and more folks out and together with the community at large. So, I’ll continue to be a patron and learn more literature from Farr Regional Library!
