We love Epic Mountain Sports! We’ve used their kids trade in program for years and they are always so knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a great selection of adult boards, boots and skis as well. Basically everything you need for the ski season!

I went into epic yesterday to look at new bindings and a board. Jason helped me and he was nothing short of amazing. From measuring my foot, to mounting on my bindings for me he made sure I was taken care of the entire time. He was also sooooo knowledgeable and answered any possible question I could come up with on top of helping me craft a killer set up for this season!! Couldn’t recommend anyone more. Really good selection of gear and I received a lot of help from staff! I knocked it down a star because the markup at this place is pretty nuts. Comparing prices from other retailers to Epic Mountain Gear's in-store stock...there was a marginal difference in cost. I bought some mittens for boarding from them for $105 but on other sites like Evo, or even directly from the manufacturer, they were $30 less with no sale. If I didn't need the items I bought immediately I would've left and ordered online. I'd go back here regardless, but will continue to be very diligent about price comparing while I'm shopping in store.

My boyfriend and I just got all new snowboarding gear and Sarah from the snowboard section could not be more helpful. We showed up last night to get boots and binding as well as today to get new boards — because why not — and even though she was helping other customers she did not hesitate to help us. We’ve both been riding for a long time but this was our first time buying entirely new/non second-hand gear so we had a lot of questions about the best choices for what we want to accomplish. I came in with my husband to get him some new ski boots as his were always painful for him. Kim helped us out and was SO SO helpful! She was patient and knowledgeable while he tried on several different boots and inserts to help him get the best fit possible.

Great experience getting my nephew a new snowboarding setup. Great selection and pricing, was able to mix and match brands to find the best fit. A return exchange policy that you have to pay $80 to have the option to use is a bigger rip off then paying taxes on taxed money.
In response: You should staff appropriately to offer that service and knowledge effectively. You failed on this interaction and are clinging to policy vs what’s right.
