I am so very sad. When this store was Diane's Hallmark- it was fabulous. The employees were always so nice and helpful and customer service was over the top. It was always a great experience when I went. Now it is the worst. It was purchased by the Elam family about a year ago. The employees are RUDE and unaccommodating. To add to the insult, the Elam Family owners have added 3% surcharge to ALL transactions. There is literally a notice posted at the register stating "due to the rising wage in California, a 3% surcharge will be added to all transactions ... ". This store is so very convenient to me and I have tried on several occasions to give this store and the new employees a second, third, fourth and fifth chance; however, my last visit was truly my last. I will now be driving to Amy's Hallmark at Costa Mesa just to avoid this store.

Wonderful Hallmark shop!!! There aren't many around anymore and we come all the way from Huntington Beach to Elam's Hallmark Shop!! Nicest and friendliest staff on Earth!

Love this shop. I find great gifts in here all year long. Look out for the catalogue in the mail, they have good coupons. Not sure if it's only during christmas. Love all the cozy accessories this shop has to offer. You can find something for the whole family in here.
