If you could rate this office with a minus rating it would be too generous. Horrible service representative, no people skills, employees with attitudes. In short, employees are curt, rude, obnoxious, ostentatiously bossy, arrogance and high minded.

It would take to long to share my situation. In short, wasted an afternoon trying to complete many tasks in regard to many vehicles only to be yelled at by a service rep who clearly had no patience, people skills, nor an ethic to care about others.

I'm 66 and I think I deserve respect from young people. The employee was young, impatient, rude, high-minded, and found it difficult to communicate to others in way in which I could understand. Imagine an ADD teenager trying to explain to his grandmother how to download a phone app on a cell phone for the first time.b

After, going back and forth many times with the employee I was frustrated, she was ballistic and was asked to leave if I didn't get off the phone with my wife when I called her to ask a question about how she wanted the title to read on one of the many vehicles I was titling that day. In short, a one minute call and a two word answer.

I left disgusted. Wasted an afternoon and have to go back to do what should been done right the first time.

In summary, the worst people experience I've had.

Be prepared for incompetency, rude behavior, impatience, and possibly having to go back twice to do that which should have been done correctly the first time.

It sadly takes forever to qualify for anything and I personally feel whomever decided to judge people by their gross income instead of net pay is a real prick. How the hell are people supposed to get any real help if we're being judged wrong by the bills we're required to pay? Like car payments and insurance for example. People such as myself are in college, working so many hours per week with no help. Yet me and my child were denied Assistance while the people who have a dozen kids are living damn near scott free, not doing anything with their lives or for their kids and yet they qualify for everything. This system is so twisted and so unfair. I've struggled as a widow now for almost 2 years. I even submitted proof of being late on my rent in need of help, but then I'm still denied food stamps and Medicaid for me and my child. I also submitted letters from the SSI office stating my child and self should have no trouble qualifying for assistance, and yet we're still denied. The main problem is that the main bills that are paid are not considered and people are judged by gross income when it would be more wise to look at the net pay. If you know anything about gross income, you'd know that people only receive a fraction of those wages. Those garnishments go to other health coverage, taxes, union dues, premiums, etc. You have everyone's pay stubs, why not look at it and really understand that some people truly do need and deserve the assistance instead of those who make no effort to support their family?!

They close at 1pm every day, not 4:30.
Call before you go to see if they're even open.

Was there today to get birth certificates. Made an 8:00 - 8:10 AM appointment online (it is required -- COVID.) Traffic wasn't terrible, but there was more of it today because of the water main leak they are currently repairing on Garden of the Gods Road. Parking was easy. A little tight for my big truck, but not the worst. A short walk to the front and upstairs to the office (plenty of elevator access if needed.) I was early and there were chairs for waiting. I was in there at 8:00 exactly. Paid with cash. Out by 8:12. I would've been done quicker had I filled out my forms ahead of time, but if you don't, they do have forms available. Everyone was friendly and helpful. There was hand sanitizer at the entrance, elevators, and inside the office. Standard, current mask requirements.

Location was clean and employees were friendly. I couldn't quite figure out where I needed to go (although there are many helpful signs) and several people were available to point me in the right direction. I was in and out quickly with what I needed. Parking was free.

With amount money the County and State charges, you would think they would be able to hire and pay more staff.
The wait time us simply pathetic. You see people behind the counter just standing.
